Luna was starting to feel restless as things turned. She nodded on waiting for word on the job. Though she didn't feel she could sit idle either. Junbaari brings up a good point of settling a few loose ends, though she want to get out some nervous energy first before seeking out Tavros. As useful as it has been to speak normally, she does not want to forget and return the man's dagger to him.
Standing up from the table, Luna picks up her pack and sword. "I will need to seek someone out myself, though...I have some energy I need to burn. Refocus my thoughts."

Moxi walks with Rex right behind her as she hears Dame speak. "It's an impressive ship for sure, though, bigger isn't always better Dame." Moxi says, still looking at the warship with aww before continuing. "Newer technologies are often more compact, so in terms of advancement, It's hard to say which would be a superior ship. Maneuverability and speed can go a long way in ending a conflict before it get's to that point of damage though. That being said, I hope this is a case of you should see the other guy...hate to think this ship is the other guy." Moxi says as she continues walking. When one of the soldiers spoke of what had happened, it eased Moxi's thoughts for the moment.
She noticed Zaer acting a bit off with the surroundings and seeming nervous. Moxi reaches up and holds on to Zaer's hand, looking up at the kitsune. "It will be alright foxy. Every new journey begins with nerves. We'll keep one another safe and have a few stories to share when we get back." Moxi smiles up to try and help ease Zaer's tension.

Moxi starts off with everyone enjoying the welcome party. Despite her feat of not being phased by the rotgut despite her size, Moxi does not really partake too much in drinking. Have some ale here and some ciders there. She does not go to hard into the harder liquors. The thing that most would notice is she enjoys food and can pack it away when she wants to. It's almost like she has a stomach of holding at times, though, Moxi would argue that brain power needs a lot of calories.
The Drujba would find out her dislike with the watchtower, however, and how she feels they pretty much murdered her mentor with inaction and slow response time to communicate a fire to the local surrounding fire brigades for the city, as well as the words from one of the watchtower mages. Moxi does drink for this story. But tells of more light hearted events such as burning her hair and eyebrows off when an experiment went wrong or accidentally turning one of the cities fountains into a pool of gelatin.
Around 22:00 is when Moxi went back for perhaps a 8th or 9th course on the food and went to the library. She mixed her last extract of the day to speed up her reading comprehension as she looked through the libraries books on Freebourne and it's people. Moxi found some good information the first couple of hours but found the second couple of hours she was teetering between consciousness and sleep. With a yawn and an ever watchful Rex next to her, Moxi closed the book and curled up on the reading chair, falling asleep. As tiny as she is, the chair made for a decent enough bed in a pinch with the overstuffed armrest a decent pillow.
In the morning a bit after the sun came up, Rex was nuzzling against Moxi to wake up. "Mmmmhmm, not now...I'm mizzzzzz. WHat what? Oh right morning...mission...Breakfast, wait for meeee!" Moxi says as she jumps down from the seat and runs out the door....then runs back in placing the book she had back on the shelf where she found it and back out again to get something for food before departing for the base. When asked about fun stories Moxi thought about it for a moment. "You know, I had this really nice dream. Right in front of me was this really big mallow, I ate it and another popped up and then another...I woke up and my pillow was gone." Moxi kept as straight a face as she could while telling the story, know full well she didn't have a pillow last night, but it was a fun little tale if nothing.

As she heard what the Astor's were it only affirmed the possibility she set fourth prior. "Perhaps it really was his ties to thieves that got him looked at." She said as she finished her stew. With her hair now dry she turned and opened her bag pulling out a brush to give her make sure there were no knots or tangles before she began braiding. Through the years on her own, she became quite adept in making sure no length of hair was long then the other to ensure a proper braid taking only a few minutes with the volume of hair she seems to have.
"I too have some coin on my person for a horse if need be. Oh, If they can track you by your...hmm Marking. We could take care of that little issue when leave town" Luna says as she ties the end of her braid to finish with it. She still needed to locate Tavros to give him back his dagger before they head out as well. It's amazing that for as much as the man seemed interested in her and how easy it was to first meet, that now that she was trying to find him was all but impossible. Be just my luck he gets some sort of joy having others try to find him.

As the lift made it's way back up, Moxi was working with the crew to secure her van in a manner that will put the least strain on the wheels there corresponding parts. She turned and waved enthusiastically to Xio, turning to walk over then stopping turning back towards her van then stopping again a few more times as she then raises her finger in the "One moment" sign. Moxi makes sure everything is finalized before finally making her way over.
"Hey hey, What did you think of the lift up. Was Boss a good sport about it? I hope he's alright for the night." Turning towards Midas a moment. "Quite a few gearheads up in the crew. Looking forward to picking their brains about different things. Oh! I should see if the guild has some regent's I can pick up before we head out. Might be a good time to try some new things out."

Luna thinks on what has been said. She is not too familiar with the Astor's or what they represent as she looks to the group. "So who are they in particular? The Astor's. I'm not too familiar with all the workings of the tower." She asks as she considers their next course of action.
Luna continues eating her stew as she agrees to go for Tarsis, speaking softly. "I think it's wise to leave Medraut's family out of the loop on what we found until we have a means of utilizing that resource in a meaningful way. It will keep them safer for longer. I don't mind taking on a caravan guard position...it is how I made my way down from the north after all. I certain prefer it over...you don't suppose that was why he was taken, Davin? Because they found out his ties to...the less then desirable side of the law?"

Seeing three watchtower mages enter for Davin, didn't sit well with Luna. It was only when he said it shouldn't take too long, Luna returned to her meal. Surely he would know if he was in trouble. She thought to herself with a sigh. Time slipped by as Jarah and Kokuten went to investigate. He better not have done something noble and get himself in trouble to keep us out of it. Or worse, lie to us.
When Medraut mentioned what Johnny said about being gunned for, Luna shook her head. "I would think we all would have been requested if we were in trouble...though I didn't care for their look." Standing up, Luna brought the great swords sheath into place as she went to see what the others were finding...or not. Damn. Something did happen.

Moxie nodded, though she still didn't care for the Watch tower. "Still, connected sigils are "Not" as bad because they only go to one location instead of where you want. The idea of creating the technology to push past the those smug...grr. Still dematerialization of a form is a long way off. Let alone putting those pieces back together safely. Hmmm." Moxi considers this as she puts the van into gear and drives forward, being directed to where she'll park it for the time being. "Maybe it will be one of my famous discoveries, who knows." Moxi smiles as she clears the platform.

Looking at the dwarven engineer as he chucks the vans wheels Moxi considers. "Kaboom boom? Hmm, That's less then ideal. I kind expect that's how I would go out one way or another...though, HEY, why not...instead of boom boom the ship instead have like....well, stupid Watchtower regulates these...I HATE THEM SO MUCH!!! Sigh, but being military you guys might be able to have access so. Why not have teleportation traps that send people who don't have a permissive signature to a holding cell or even an area with another trap rune that incinerates them there?" Moxi offers, not entirely sure how much the armed forces might be regulated on magic as well. It's a good idea to her, but it comes down to if those bonehead corruptible mages would allow such a thing for military tactics. So very blind if they don't. They are an international group after all so allowing such magic might be considered too much support for one nation over another. Nah. They're just power hungry snobs with a god complex. Look at us, we control all the magics. We can't allow anyone to have these powers...grrr. She then thinks to herself

Luna munched on some of the bread as she listened to the question from Kokuten. "Depends on how far North you go on how you'll be treated really. The only reason I was "tolerated" was because of my father. And that...that ended badly. If they don't know you, it may start with violence before understanding. At best just refusing to allow you to buy anything. You certainly won't get to stay at an inn." Luna then scoops a spoonful of stew into her mouth and takes a drink of cider.
She then considers the creatures for transport. "Mind you I've only been to a few of the villages up North...I left with the intention of not looking back. As far as animals for travail. Sled dogs, yaks for transporting goods. Even Mammoth's. Bears for riding mounts. Perhaps would have been the one thing I would have liked to bring with me...poor thing would die in this heat though."

Luna unbraided her hair to allow it to fully dry in the sun as well as remove her armor for much the same reason. She still shivered a bit from the damp, despite it being much warmer here. As they gathered. Luna agreed something hot would suit her and so ordered stew with hot bread and warm cider if available. She considered the groups next venture but still didn't much care for doing a job for the thieves guild. Despite how easy it might be. The mention of it elicited a grumble.
She quietly addresses the group as she partakes of the warm food. "Again I'd rather not deal with criminals...though I suppose we're not too far behind with our recent discovery. Tarsis would have legitimate work for us when we reach there though...I'd hate for us to be branded before we even get too far. How much of a risk would this job be Davin?"
Celest considered the fact everyone has something that they would need to watch out for along the way and blushed after the fact when considering the trouble Medruat was in. "Sorry Medraut. I didn't mean you considering you seemed to not have much say over your situation. Still Masero will be mostly the concern of non humans. Especially further north we go, the more superstitious people will be. Everything is an omen." Luna says. She hardly seems upset anymore speaking of her homeland, though it is more then likely the daggers influence not allowing her emotions to spike one way or the other.

Nodding to Rackham, Moxi smiled. "It's worth asking, it is a military vessel after all and I am not sure if the cargo has some sealed gimmick to make it harder for pirates to take the cargo hold if they board...Though them boarding poses an problem in and of itself, but that is besides the point. I, am, glad."
When Midas spoke on Rex, Moxi beamed with pride over her Rexy. "Thank you. He's still a work in progress. But he is the bestest boy. Though. Yeah a flying construct would be tough...Aluminum might help with weight...and instead of the bird aesthetic maybe he could use membrane like wings where they can hold more air? Not sure on the designs he's attempted...though a running ostrich would be interesting."
Moxi shakes her head and smiles with the other shenanigans taking place with boss and Dame, though she notes Zaer's uneasiness.

The amount of industrial machines is like being in a candy store for Moxi. Seeing the loading platform come down Moxi looks at the dwarf. Great crafters in their own right and Midas is someone Moxi would try, and fail perhaps, to talk his ear off on the different projects and machines about. Someone she could talk shop with and maybe even not understand everything herself instead of the other way around. She looks over at Rex beside her. "Come on, Rexy. Going for a little trip...Uhmm by the way. When we get going...I'll still have access to my van during the flight...right?" She asks as she walks over to the van and rolls the window down while Rex jumps in over the drivers seat and to the center between the passenger seat. She climbs in and drives the van onto the platform being sure to things straight.

After getting things secured and showing Dame her home slash lab. Dame would note that Moxi is quite meticulous when it comes to where things sit to maximize good floor living space with the lab. The van even had fume vents to increase airflow. The drivers seat is modified to allow Moxi to drive without difficulty either.
As she pulled up in the van, Moxi was a bit disappointed she could go right back to work in her lab, but it did allow her time to get to know her knew friends better and enjoy some good food. The level of technology at the military compound was something else though. This would have been a dream to work on the multitude of Steam mecha. Drive innovation and create a world closer to relying on science and drift from the misguided and corrupt practice of the watchtowers rules of magic. Moxi appreciated practitioners of the craft like Zaer, but she feels the tower puts too much of a strangle hold on things for true advancements to take shape.
As the van comes to a stop. Moxi looks about to see where she could leave the van to be loaded proper. Climbing out and going up to see the magnificence that is the Kessal. Technology and an engineers dream in it's own right. The worry of water or air vanished from Moxi as she looked at the ship. "I know it won't happen. But I would love to see the specs on that bad boy." A tear makes it's way to the little gremlin's eye at the sight. "That's beautiful."

Moxi just smiles at the enthusiasm, Dame shows after receiving the bullets from Xi. "I appreciate it. Though...some of the chemicals I work with can have a much greater...discharge then gun powder...so might need to go over some don'ts so we don't become wallpaper. Other then that an extra set of hands is lovely." While Moxi is certain Dame will be fine, she leaves nothing to chance having witnessed people more stable do unexpected renovations to their work areas. "I think for the most part I'll be making sure things are secure for the trip. Wonder if I'll have time to make a few acid vials. I'll have time in transit at least. Oooh I could look up at ways to create chemical bullets. Add some extra elements to the pew pew's. We'll see how things work out."

Moxi looks up appreciatively tow Xi. "Thank you, but that is not quite the issue. Rex also has saddle bags an I can carry quite a bit with him." Moxi says, though currently the saddle bags are in her van. She then looks up at Captain Rakham. "That's handy and all and good to note. Though...my lab is also my home. I have it set up in. I suppose I could see about staying at a place...will be weird, and might not get any sleep. But yeah if there's room I can drive it over today." Considering how quickly this sprang up Moxi wasn't even considering she would be needing to figure out another sleeping arrangement. She would need to make sure the chemical containers are secured again when she takes it to the shipyard. She won't make the mistake of not checking...again.

Moxi knew about being on nerves and kept a good hold on Zaer's hand. Being a gremlin, everything is big and scary at some point to her. Part of the reason she made Rex. Then Dame makes her statement on the bet. She felt an instant paradigm shift when the wagers for Dame's and Xi's bets came out and she sighed. When Dame addressed her and Zaer, Moxi shook her head. "I mean to be honest, while I look at everything through the lens of science. I think making such a bet is just tempting fate so to speak...also the uhmm stakes seem quite personal as well...do you...do you really need to do those? I mean we just became acquainted and would hate something that is not comfortably shared to...stress the dynamic."
Moxi looks back up to Zaer then back to Dame. "To be fair, I hope there are no complications along the way, but that is the nature of this sort of life." Not to mention the information shared with us, it is almost certain Dame will win this bet, but I hope not. "Anyways, I think I'll pass on that myself."

Description
Once during this spell’s duration, you can spit a viscous liquid as a standard action. This liquid functions as a tanglefoot bag, except you do not have to make a successful attack roll to hit your target. The DCs to counteract this adhesive (to avoid being stuck to the floor, to fly, to break the adhesive, or to cast a spell) use the spell’s DC rather than a tanglefoot bag’s normal DCs. The adhesive persists for 2d4 rounds after you spit it.
A tanglefoot bag is a small sack filled with tar, resin, and other sticky substances. When you throw a tanglefoot bag at a creature (as a ranged touch attack with a range increment of 10 feet), the bag comes apart and goo bursts out, entangling the target and then becoming tough and resilient upon exposure to air. An entangled creature takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity and must make a DC 15 Reflex save or be glued to the floor, unable to move. Even on a successful save, it can move only at half speed. Huge or larger creatures are unaffected by a tanglefoot bag. A flying creature is not stuck to the floor, but it must make a DC 15 Reflex save or be unable to fly (assuming it uses its wings to fly) and fall to the ground. A tanglefoot bag does not function underwater.
A creature that is glued to the floor (or unable to fly) can break free by making a DC 17 Strength check or by dealing 15 points of damage to the goo with a slashing weapon. A creature trying to scrape goo off itself, or another creature assisting, does not need to make an attack roll; hitting the goo is automatic, after which the creature that hit makes a damage roll to see how much of the goo was scraped off. Once free, the creature can move (including flying) at half speed. If the entangled creature attempts to cast a spell, it must make concentration check with a DC of 15 + the spell’s level or be unable to cast the spell. The goo becomes brittle and fragile after 2d4 rounds, cracking apart and losing its effectiveness. Written material can be read at the rate of one page (250 words) per minute. Magical writing cannot be read, though the spell reveals that it is magical. This spell can be foiled by certain warding magic (such as the secret page and illusory script spells). It does not decipher codes or reveal messages concealed in otherwise normal text.
Comprehend languages can be made permanent with a permanency spell.
