Rule as you like, you are GM, but I notice your poll has a No, and multiple abstains. Sounds like the player preference is no, unless I'm misunderstanding.

Val nods and draws her pistol, pulling out a paper bullet and tearing a hole in with her teeth. The investigator pours the black powder down the barrel, tamps it down and drops in the bullet quickly, then draws the trigger lock back and prepares to fire. Val pulls her horse ahead of Violet, staying between danger and the android as she redoubles her search.

ACTION: Kethra reads a scroll of Shield

1 - Detect Secret Doors (Knowledge Domain)
AppearanceTall, thin and blonde; the young 's woman's bone structure speaks to her proud Illuskan ancestry and the fierce warriors and sailors who founded her bloodline. The young scholar has eyes like the sea after a storm and a fair complexion made pale by hours and hours in ivory towers.
Scholar by nature and librarian by training; Kethra is a bibliophile, almost as passionate about books as she is about her goddess and the magic that Mystra brings to the world. Sometimes tending to be a know-it-all, the young Illuskan often has to moderate her superior-seeming attitude by being an affable person and an able negotiator. -
Noriko, trapped in the corner and unable to reach any of the enemies, instead touches herself with her wand. She then clambers up onto the shelf and moves along the side.

First, my apologies for not posting quickly enough. Second, my thanks to Sorithar for directing my character’s actions.
Is Max down and at the end of the hall near the Kobolds where the weasel bit him.
Is Max in danger of dying in a round or two if not healed?

And then half miss and because they are 0th level peyons, they don't have precise shot and those who miss accidentally hit the person yoyu are helping.
-
-
Normally, with aiding another through melee, it would limit the amount of possible aid to five others (you can't stack more than six meleers on one human-sized target). Allowing it to happen at range suggests you could have twenty or more people aiding anothe on one target.
-
Chara looked about from where they had been deposited, riding on the back of her wolf. "Skeletons, I see. Many here abide. Animated perhaps they are or victims of sompthing which upon them fed."
-
Alura smiles, "I believe that feelings, that emotional realities are as important as logical arguments. You should know that about me since we may be choosing to work together."
There is a thoughtul look to the mermaid as she continues, "It's good to talk things out, and as you say, we can do that. My feeling is we should accept this offer, and I feel that having proven ourselves honorable to our potential employer, it will make the rewards of that association greater in the future. But we will leave the rest of that to tomorrow, and we can lay out every term to everyone's contentment."
-
Val rides carefully and quietly, often lost in thought. Once or twice she pulls out Domino's letter and rereads it, but this never seems to improve her mood toward her sister. At night she talks a lot with Violet, helping her orient herself to her new world.
-
Alura looks at Tann, "I respectfully disagree. Serephina acted as she thought best in restoring a significant portion of Lavinia's wealth that we knew had been stolen from her. I agree that we could make a case for keeping or not even mentioning it to her, we took a significant risk on her behalf and taking a portion of what we found in the course of helping her seems reasonable. I also agree that in chosing to return it meant that Seraphina took it upon herself to act in all our names to do something that had not been discussed between us may seem questionable. However, she made a call, and I believe it was the right call.
For her to choose a course that preserved our honor was a brave and noble thing, and because of that, I would trust her any day to act in the realm of negotiator for us, shold we chcoose to remain working together as a group. Let's not nitpick what she did, even if one or more of us may not entirely agree with her choice, or her right to make that choice, what she chose was the right thing to do, and that is more important to me than wealth."
-
Val stands, being held by and holding the android. "You may stay with me as long as you wish, because that is what I wish."
Val will go, if nobody else is going with Vri to purchase the horses, but she will suggest that the group go as a whole to the Round Pen, that way no one will end up with a horse they don't feel comfortable with.
-
Makes sense too me, and given those circumstances, that is what she would have done. 😉
-
Alura looks up from the notes, "The Sea should take the dead, she will hold them, change them as needed and return them when it is time for them to come home."
-
Val looks to Vri and nods, "Keep track of the money you spend, we'll make sure everyone gets a share, especially after we sell the horses back in Torch. Do you think you know enough about horses to help those with no riding experience? Oh, and don't forget feed and waterskins, all the tack we need."
As she reads the letter her face goes dark, under her breath you may hear her mutter something like, "Drama queen...".
Val walks over to Violet and puts a hand on her shoulder, "This has nothing to do with you... this is an old matter between us that I have learned in the past few days was mostly in her head. Please don't feel that you were any part of this... if it wasn't you, she would have picked something else to proclaim her outrage over." Val sighs and folds the letter up, putting it in a pouch, "So, changing the course of my whole life, three years preparing to search for you, finally finding you, helping you escape captivity along with all of us... and this is what you have to say."
-
Then you are probably just here... and I let the GM determine who was going to recieve the first heal by arrival. Our other party member was quickly dragged to me, so I guess they won initiative.
-
For everyone, who is in a position to strike at the weasel which is now next to our party, the suggestion being that we pop that weasel.
For Sorithar, in terms of Animal Training and the Command Spell:
Command is language dependent, but even if the weasel has been trained with command words, it might not understand language, but language is used in controlling it. Command works on a single creature. So normally I could use the command "Halt" to make the Weasel not attack this round (yes, Kethra speaks Draconic), but the normal command used by animal handlers for the same effect is "Down". Would Kethra know this, not having animal handling herself?
Actually, lacking this knowledge I'm going to make a Lore role to see if Kethra knows the kinds of commands that would be used to train animals (with Sorithar's approval, of course). Alternatively, if Lore is to generic to use for something so specific, perhaps Knowledge (nature)?
-
No, because last game round I was casting shield, and this game round I was ready to heal. Did I miss a game round?
-
Alura compares the writing to see if the two notes were written by the same hand, as she had a vague suspicion they might be.
-
Alura shrugs, "It was her platinum, unfairly taken away. It's good that we returned it. I think that working for a noble who favors us could be a good learning experience. I haven't had much contact with nobles, and this could be a change for me, and maybe for you all as well?"
Alura ponders something... "Could I see the note with the strange code on it? Something feels familiiar about it. Does anyone have the note that was used to summon you to the first meeting, mine isn't with me... but is it the same writing?"
-
Val nods to Rain. "There wasn't a lot of amazing stuff there, but I got a masterwork buckler, a potion of enlarge person, a scroll of comprehend languages, and a wand with a light cure spell that had five charges."

Kethra’s crossbow is right on the floor, next to both of them, he could also ask for the wand if cure light wounds is on his spell list and he could use it.
