If you see someone else's post/sheet you can click the clone button and it will copy it into your post without the quote block. Then you can just edit it to have your characters info.

which one is the clone button?

  2. Molly points toward the other end of the tunnel. "Lets at least see if we can raise it the right way first, I bet the wheel that raises and lowers it is on the other side." He once more points toward the end of tunnel as he too stoops and passes beneath the Iron barrier

Oswald had already went under the portcullis began to sneak down the tunnel with his back to the wall trying to make as little sound as possible.

  3. Molly looks the area of the portcullis over while Oswald searches the area with the others. "The portcullis may have its locking mock on the walls above or just inside the caste walls at the end of the  tunnel over there." He points toward the other end of  the entry tunnel of  the gate house.

" Lets get out of this gloomy entry tunnel and into the court yard byound." Oswald says

Being a minstrel doesn't help her, but Molly doesn't see anything that would lock the portcullis in place. The controls for it seem to be outside the tunnel somewhere. Maybe on the gatehouse roof (which is accessible from the castle walls) or on the far side of the tunnel.

Him, Molly is a Him got the name from the band Molly Hatchet lol.

So let me see if I have this right.

Beyond the portcullis is a tunnel. There are murder holes along the top and sides, on both sides. And there are doors on either side halfway through?

Can we see the other side of the tunnel from where we are? If so, is there another portcullis at the other end?

can since Molly is a Minstrel does that follow along the thief track like a bard does in D&D? if so can He look to see if he can tell if the portcullis is safe to pass under? i.e. locked in place

Did he give his sling to someone else? I put him there because I thought he had the sling and was trying to put missile people in the second row middle.

It should not be too hard. I believe you can move through friendly occupied spaces with no trouble. Unless they try to stop you.

Oswald has a STR of 17 and an Agility of 8 Molly has an Agility of 14 and a Str of 4 so in the last post around the time the zombies blew up I posted that they switched weapons Oswald gave Molly the sling and Molly gave Oswald the dagger then the plant zombies blew up and Molly grabbed the short sword and dagger, ( if sombody wants the dagger let me know)

  7. After they Mob of villagers is placed in some form of marching order Oswald takes out his new short sword also takes out the dagger, now with a weapon in each hand he stands ready to make his way into the ruined Keep.  Molly looks around for a few more stones that would be good slings stones and places them within easy reach and likewise keeps an eye out for any danger as they enter the group. The young minstrel watches the arrow slits and murder holes in case he might spy something inside the ruined gate house.  “We should search the gate house before we move further into the keep, don’t want to leave some nasty demon behind to attack us from the rear” Molly says probably a little to loud something he realized after he had spoken.

Experience in DCC is as straightforward as it gets: if you survive a dangerous encounter, you gain an experience point. When you have enough experience points to go up a level, you do. It takes 10xp to go from level zero to level one.

Now, all that said, we're going to use an even simpler alternative system: you level up at the end of each module. Many groups handle levels in that way, and I think it will work particularly well for us due to the slow pace of PbP gaming.

So, no need to track XP. If you survive the module, your character will reach first level.

Ok so lets all go home and level up!

  9. Molly Hatchet

Once He recovered from the explosion the would be adventurer dusts himself off and makes ready to enter the keep.

    Oswald Cobblepot

Before the dead bodies explode into a gooey blob of seeds Oswald quickly grabs the short sword and dagger, once the threat is over the novice warrior takes the short sword in his left hand and the dagger in his right and moves with the rest of the group into the keep.

  10. Molly hatchet

With one plant zombie down and the other advancing on the group Molly watches Oswald horrific attack with his sling “Oswald here take this dagger and give me your sling; I think I will be a better shot and you look like you have been in a few fist fights.” The wondering minstrel hands the beggar his dagger. As the last vine horror falls to the ground dead Molly joins the rest of the group.

    Oswald Cobblepot

“Here, I think you may be right.” The beggar exchanges his sling for the other man’s dagger then steps in front of him to offer a bit of protection should he need it. He seems relived when the last vine horror falls before he can get into the battle.  Oswald joins the others and notices the short sword. " Can I have the short sword, It will be better for the group if more than one of us has a sword, I am kinda strong and should be able to use it to great effect."

If i remember correctly, there is no AC in M&M. You make an attack roll opposed by the targets defense roll and higher total wins. If you hit then the target makes a resistance roll to see if it can take the hit with no damage or if you walloped him good. So you pretty much post your intentions and your rolls and then have to wait for the GM to give you the results. It is a lot more complex then other RPG games, but with good roles you can take a big baddie out with one or two hits. Of course you could pound on them all day long and have no affect too. 😉

This is not M&M its DCC

I will get my post out this afternoon CST I got to make a 2 hour round trip drive for the company this AM

It would take a round for them to communicate and switch weapons.

You're welcome to try turning your crutch into a spear. It would take about ten minutes. Or one if you want to risk breaking it into something useless.

so what are my chances of breaking it and making it a functional spear? ( I will most likely wait until after the combat and whittle the tip of the crutch into a spear)

  13. If I am up next can my characters exchange weapons and then let Molly sling a stone or will it take a round to do that?

Molly would be better with the sling and Oswald will end up being better with hand to hand attacks. could I sharpen the crutch and make a crude spear?

Ahm, you're right. I confused Dragon's attack roll with their initiative roll.

    Player Initiative Action Result
Excior 19 Attack with Sling missed
Draidden 13 Attack with Sword Hit, 4 Damage
Malkavian Grin 13 Attack with Spear Hit, 8 Damage
Vine Horrors 13 Attack Thugnar missed
    Dixi 9 Attack x2 missed x2
TheDragonFlame 6 Attack with Bow missed
    Shocker 4
    Tecumseh 4 Attack x2 missed x2
    RougueBlade0729   resigned

You might want to add a line for each character

    Player    Character    Initiative    Action                         Result

    Excior     Minstrel              19          waiting                           None

Excior     Guild beggar        19          Attack with Sling            Miss
