Before he became the supervillain Mecha Demon, Sean Sulvan was a scientist and founder of a research and manufacturing firm known as Sulvan Technologies. His desperation to save his company led to him making a deal with the Devil to help him finish creating a high-tech battle suit with capabilities beyond what any defense contractor can make. The board of directors however, had no confidence that Sean's invention would be enough to save the company. So before Sean's battle suit was completed, they removed him from his position as CEO of the company, and sold Sulvan Technologies to their competitor, Kolten Industries.
