Celsior actively listens to Tarto and genuinely excited about the opportunity to explore a beholder homeworld but gets distracted again by that penguin. Now, what? That penguin is everywhere.
Finally, Tarto gets to the theft, current charts of Realmspace? Who would need those? Or deprive the academy of them? The prince accepts his new colored helmet as an award with a smile of satisfaction.
"Popsicle joining our crew?" He repeats the goblin's question, almost incredulously. "I thought he already was. He seems to always be with us. But he better not try to open that box with his crowbar."
He watches the box to ensure the penguin doesn't touch it waiting for someone to pick it up. He certainly won't.
