I don't normally do introductions, to be honest. But I figured -- why not.
I'm 54 years-old. Been gaming now for almost 40 years (started in 1984). And when I say 40 years, I do mean consistently. Well ... in the mid 2000s, I did take a couple of years off. Because I tried to get into RP in World of Warcraft but that turned out to be an unpleasant experience -- to put it mildly.
For the most part, I play Shadowrun 5e and good old fashioned DnD (2nd or 5th edition) as my two mainstays of gaming. But I have played (and will play) other games such as Cthulhu, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade, Deadlands, and virtually any system if I'm interested in the genre. There are certain types of genres I'm not all that attached to. But, in any rate, if anyone has an extra spot at their virtual gaming table (I can play either in voice or play-by-post) and need someone to fill it, drop me a line. If I can oblige you, I will certainly try to do so.

Let's just say that my experiences trying to RP in World of Warcraft -- at least on that server -- was so bad that I quit RPing and gaming altogether. I just couldn't do it anymore because it left such a bad taste in my mouth. I may never have returned to gaming if it hadn't been for my then-roommate who signed up for a game and wanted to know if I wanted to go with him. I said ... sure.
Now, though, I live in such a rural town that there aren't any groups close enough to be worth it. Now I play exclusively online. For the most part, I play Shadowrun 5e (I can play other editions but I don't know the rules for them), good old fashioned DnD (2nd or 5th editions), Cthulhu, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade -- and am willing to learn other systems if needs be. If anyone needs an extra player for something, just drop me a line. If I'm able, I'll see about filling your spot.
