Just moments after Merituuli entered the fray at his urging, Artanis watches the sea elf stiffen at two particularly vicious blows. Decimus meanwhile seems to be holding his own, a multiplicity of arcane after images mapping his already dance like movements. His decision is clear, even without guilt, and he directs Tiergan between the snake and barbarian, over the still incapacitated Draconian, to strike past the paralyzed prince. His lance skitters off the creatures scales, perhaps because he had to avoid striking his ally, and he wheels back to allow Modri past
