Written off as an idiot by his family, he was banished as a young teen and forced to go out and bend for himself. He took menial jobs as he could until he met Andrea, a beautiful woman of means. Their friendship grew as he never made an advance; he never thought she would accept. She, for that matter loved that he was so respectful of her. She decided he must learn a way to make a living. He said he could make a living to keep her safe from all the men who wanted to touch her. It warmed her and she paid for martial training under a retired swordsman.
