The tired tengu tries to shake off the impression of disbelief. Surely these origami-toads are some upperclassman's idea of a practical joke? he reasoned. Joke or Test or someone's magical 'pets,' however, the constructs or creatures seemed to convey a very real sense of threat. Would he be making a fool of himself by acting defensively? Or, send a message that he was not to be trifled with? Even showing alarm might provide amusement to some.

SQUAWK!

A quick glace at the doors (which I'll presume for the narrative would open inwards -- so Kraawkaw could not back out through them?) were a full 20' away. Too far unless he simply wished to make an escape. And if he moved to the doors, but not through, he'd just block anyone coming to his aid.

Attack or flee?

He decided to buy time: he could still fight out in the halls.

Directions below assume that the top of the map is north.

Do the doors close behind Kraawkaw (i.e. so that the constructs have to negotiate them?)

 

ACTIONS

Free: Squawks (not the Ancestry Feat, simply calling out)

1. Stride south to the doors. x3 South; x1 SE (20' total).

2. Interact to open the doors.

3. Stride x1 south through the doors, then x4 west (25' total).

Will turn around to end up facing east towards the baths to observe whether the toads follow.
