Tourna let out an apologetic-sounding warble as the Ramenooze suffered the full effect of its wasabi paste. (I mean, one could argue that it was its fault for eating it, but to be fair Tourna had misplaced the stuff in the first place - and as far as it was concerned, the Ramenooze was suffering for its theft just plenty as it was).
After a few moments, it started mixing up another stew - this one milk, fruit, and other generally nice-tasting things, to hopefully take the edge off the poor ooze's...uh, heartburn? Did oozes have hearts? In any case, as it turned out, Tourna would not be needing to worry about such considerations, because the swinging kobolds thwacked it on the back with their harisen and the anti-heartburn stew went splat onto the floor of the boat.
Tourna whistled angrily and hopped up onto the edge of the boat. How impolite of the kobolds when it was trying to help! It washed its spoon off in the boiling water surrounding them - it wasn't going to waste so much as a drop of its milk 'stew' on the rude kobolds - and went to town, swinging at the kobolds like they were so many pinatas!
