Things are transpiring very fast as the master vampire snatches Jack. Truth be told, Lapis preference prior to this event would have been to fight alongside Solstice and look for Robin after the fight. Seeing Ben and especially Solstice mind-controlled was a bad feeling for him. Solstice can tell as much.
