The acid beasts continue to attack while the puddles on the floor finish becoming inert. The one spitting from the next hall over advances so it can see new targets while the one formerly blocking the doorway shifts slightly to allow the ranged attacker entrance to the room.

Gwain's arrow flies true, sinking into Acid Beast 3's shoulder. Fang tears another bloody chunk out of the creature and engages in a brief tug of war to try and drag it to the ground. The beast proves just a bit too resilient for this, however, and remains on its feet.
