The range on a sling says 3 sq, is that like squares, like 15 feet or something? How much does armor cost?

Ya it's going to be 5 foot squares although I might go ahead and change everything to feet, now that I think about it the squares part just makes it needlessly complicated

I might rework some of the distance of the weapons as well. I think I'm going to go with the sling being 30 feet range. So lets go with that

Is there any restrictions on small characters using longbows? The caravan doesn't seem to have a scout type character, so I was considering a Goblin or Tabaxi ranger type character. Also seems slightly odd that the heat crossbow shoots further than the longbow, especially when their weapon type bonuses give an advantage to the bows at long range and the crossbows at short range

I don't put any restrictions on longbow weapons for small characters, I just assume they use an appropriate size longbow for their size. Don't want to worry about that difference really.

 

 

I'm going to examine the range for the ranged weapons, just been a bit busy I hadn't noticed I had done that.
