Thereafter, when Ranulf shouts words of praise and glory to Ulfgrim and the other worthy combatants around the ship, the large barbarian smiles and slightly raises and tips his axe in a return salute recognizing Ranulf's and the other survivors' equivalent bravery and glory. However, when several members of the armed contingent bring up the unexpected appearance of an Outlander on board during the fight with the pirates, the controversy draws the large warrior's immediate attention.
