They march through the forest, making their way to the mouth of the cave when Maso, the largest amongst the Trio lets out a roar of pain and surprise! Above him a humanoid completes a flip, moving the stick it’s holding from Maso’s brow as it bleeds profusely. When it lands, it looks like a he. “Does anyone know what that is?” It’s a small humanoid, about 4 feet high with light grass growing instead of fur. It has an elongated snout, like a monkey. “No, never seen anything like that before…” ”Hello. No need to attack, we come in peace. We’re looking for something, The Cape of Stars. Do you know of it?” Maso asks. He speaks as if talking to a dog, in the hopes it will lead him somewhere. He crouches, keeping his hands open , and trying to bring his eyes to eye level of the creature Next Will the Eliko respond kindly or attack again.
