The Knives Are Drawn

The smoke vanishes - and two members of your party seize the moment to pounce upon the opportunity so revealed, timing it just so with your wizard's own spellcasting.

As your wizard knew and told you, the enemy has bundled into a defensive formation at the end of this path, spears at the ready and javelins being readied to throw. It is not to be, however, because Chira sends a lethal bolt across the distance with a telling accuracy that fells the first spear carrier. There is a choked gurgle from the warrior followed near-instantly by an undignified collapse, for the warrior was far too busy trying not to slip upon the grease underboot.

At the same time, your dragon rushes forth and, thanks to the greasy on the floor giving the other spear trooper far too much to think of, the dragon's rush meets an exposed target that his jaws make quick work of.

Your handsome priest stands ready, as does the furious protector beside him.

At the face of such determination and skill, your foes choose to... Well.

With a squeal and violent shoving, the longsword waving leader of these warriors turns and runs elsewhere, to "left" from your view.

The one trooper not on the ground turns and joins its leader in squealing retreat.

The other two still on the ground make every effort to scramble back up.

It is a comedic performance to your eyes: they slip here and there, panicking and dancing, always stumbling over their own feet.

Elia, you are up.

Then everyone else again.
