The Knives Are Drawn

Kaldakaczil reaches a clawed limb. It takes all of a single twist of what looks to your eyes like a perfectly mundane spot of rocks with a bit of moss on it.

There is a small clack- and an entire section of the wall slides open, revealing a formation of small humanoids possessed of flat faces featuring substantial but flat noses, wide mouths whence fangs peek out, and small, beady eyes. They number eight in total, and each is geared for battle since they are both armored and wielding weapons. Those in the front have morningstars and shields while those behind them have stacks of javelins in their arms.

Behind the first bunch, you can clearly see the boss of this bunch: it wears a metal armor that is far higher in quality compareed to the humble leather armors of the others, and in its hands you see a large longsword. You can hear it barking orders the very moment your groups come face to face.

The troopers raise their weapons and unleash a battle cry!
