Oh. Don't try to make it yourself. You go to the sample template post, click "clone" at the bottom, then click "source" at the top, then copy the whole thing. Don't hit send.
Then you to your thread, make a post, click "source", and paste the code into it.
Then you can go in and edit the details to make it your character.

Then you to your thread, make a post, click "source", and paste the code into it. If you delete the first few lines until the line break and the last few lines after the last break, it gets rid of the quote and makes it your own post.
Then you can go in and edit the details to make it your character.
