For good or ill, Remy acknowledges being designed as the next best thing after natural humans. Harder, Better, Faster, Smarter. And something that was built as an improvement is bound to eventually outcompete its predecessor. Not out of malice, but due to the nature of things. Not with fanfare and pride, but with a matter-of-fact shrug.

Sooner or later, a Gattaca of sorts would become the new norm, and Remy is the aloof herald of that era, neither celebrating the world to come, nor mourning the old world.
