Part of the prominent Tomita family, Mari-sensei has spent most of her family’s riches on conservation efforts throughout the surrounding environs. Thanks to her unique Mokuton abilities, she has introduced different tree varieties to the region, raising the hopes of local lumberers for new material to sell… that is if they can ever convince the jounin to let them near her private groves.

When she’s not slapping around preying lumberjacks, Mari-sensei spends much of her kunoichi duties cultivating the next generation of Matsugakure ninja. She takes this responsibility just as seriously as her conservation work. Academy students whisper in fear stories of Mari’s hell training.
