This tall, muscular man can be quite frightening if you don't know what a gentle man he could be, though his martial skill and force does well in hiding his gentle nature. He lands many hard-hitting heavy blows that create large "THUDS" when connecting with anyone, but these blows will never kill outright, and are only meant to incapacitate. He was always fascinated by the mythical status of the man's martial arts, his inability to be touched by mere mortal men, and reflexes so fast that made it easy to believe that the man could catch bullets. Levi was fascinated by the man's sheer technique, and would practice along to Bruce's moves, rewinding the VCR for Fist of Fury he had and trying to copy the legendary martial artist as the movie played. He burned out a few tapes this way, wear and tear from the constant rewinding ripping the film inside. After a few years of this, his parents finally decided that this was no longer a phase, but something he loved to his core. He was taken to a Karate dojo once a week before he even turned 10, learning the ways of martial arts and instilling a great sense of duty to fairness that many dojos had at that time. Levi was never the best at school. He couldn't wrap his head around numbers or sciences. Geography was abstract to him, events throughout history were muddled and he was unable to tell you if the Big Ben or the Pyramids were created first. He was only slightly more than passable in writing and English classes, if only because what he wrote could be very convincing. Physical Education was the only class he excelled at, pushing the records of his school's Presidential Physical Fitness Test further and further every year. As Levi grew up, he spent more and more time in the dojo. Once a week at age 8, twice at age 10, three times at age 12, every day at age 14 when he would come and help teach classes. By this point he was already a second degree black belt. It was only hard to get to the dojo in the snow as Levi's only method of getting there was to bike the 15 minute distance from his house. By the time he graduated highschool at age 17 (just barely, Levi thanked god heavily that day for Physical education), he was already a 3rd degree blackbelt and teaching the younger classes by himself as a part time job. The second he finished school, he bowed in-front of his Sensei and asked to be promoted to a full-time employee. He was graciously accepted. Levi would take over more and more of the teaching side of the Dojo, while his Sensei took over the business side. His tenacity, size, and raw strength was substantially above other Martial art instructors, and earned him the nickname Leviathan. Once he surpassed his Sensei, the man renamed the Dojo to "Leviathan's School of Karate" behind Levi's back. Years went by. Levi established himself in the Karate community as someone who practiced for the sake of practicing, learned karate for the sake of learning, and taught others for the sake of teaching. If you had a desire to learn, Levi would teach you, no matter how hard it was for you to learn. He rose through the Black belt ranks until he hit the tests for the 8th blackbelt. He wasn't able to surpass this barrier no matter how hard he practiced, no matter how hard he pushed himself, no matter how much blood, sweat, and tears the Dojo Mats were stained with. He was stuck at a 7th black belt, nanadan. He was only getting older, he body getting weaker. The year is 2018. There is one of America's largest Martial Arts Tournaments, one that Levi had a very special feeling about. He took himself and a few hand-picked students for the adult and junior divisions, entering himself into the adult division as well. His students made him very proud in their fights, but eventually he was the last one from Leviathan's School of Karate remaining in the tournament. This would be his last fight in this world. All it took was a single punch to his chest to stop his heart. His aging body was unable to keep up with his much younger opponent. Levi hit the floor. The light faded from his eyes as his students rushed from their seats to get to him, vaulting over railings and obstacles meant to keep them in the stands and away from the fighting mat. He died alone on the mat, his opponent and referee the only people within 10 feet of him. . Levi was a bit more than surprised when he found himself still able to think, and moreso able to choose how he wanted to live through a new, second life. As he looked through some options, he noticed a race of snake people. Strong, Charismatic, a people that places honor, devotion, and dedication above all else. That sounded like his type of people. They worship the Nagas, which looked very similar to stories about the Leviathan he knew. He decieded on being that race then and there, no matter the drawbacks. Personality

Levi has a very can-do attitude, as in he believes you can accomplish anything with enough effort. You want to learn a new skill? You can do it with enough effort. You want to craft a new creation? Levi believes in you, you'll craft it eventually if you never give up! Your not skill enough yet? Time to practice long and hard to become skilled enough.

You have plans to take over the world and enslave the entire population? Levi believes you can do it with enough practice, planning, and effort. And Levi will be there to try and stop you.

Levi tends not to underestimate anyone due to this trait, whether friend or foe. He'll always believe that you can go the extra mile, for good or for bad. If you are requesting his help in something he's good in (such as martial arts), he'll train you until one of three things happen.

He has no qualms of upholding 'pride', as the only 2 things he remains prideful in are his students, and his own martial art skills.

Backstory, Choosing Race

"Backstory, Choosing race"

Levi Glickstein was a boy who grew up in the 1970s watching Bruce Lee movies.

It's him, Leviathan the Nagaji. And he's here to be the best martial artist this world has ever seen.
