  2. Claim a character then go to Chapter 1 and start posting. All the characters are mechanically incomplete, they still have X unassigned Attribute points, Y unassigned Ability points and Z unassigned features. You do not need to assign them to start playing, you can do that any time later. When any of these are assigned, however, that sticks.
