Game Expectations

The target pacing for the game will be at least a post every day or two (not necessarily a post from every person). This may change due to real life situations. In those circumstances, it is appreciated if you’re able to give a heads up.

We'll use present tense in our posts.

My goal of this game is for all of us to have a good time telling stories of solving mysteries and kicking some monster ass. Feel free to speak up if there are any issues you encounter along the way. It is expected that everyone is treated with kindness and collaboratively. Arguments between characters should not reflect actual conflicts between players or cause real conflict.

Due to this being a collaborative storytelling game, the game will operate easiest using a fiction-first approach, meaning the mechanics put into play will become obvious based upon certain actions of the Hunters. Don’t worry about strategy or picking a mechanic first because the more dice rolled, the more danger you may find your Hunter in.

Lastly, you all will play a part in shaping the world and story. I don’t know how the arc will go. All I know is which mysteries I intend to be in the arc at some point. Certain things could change that or even introduce necessary alterations. The story we tell together will be crafted together.
