The jungle lands call to you and the Death Curse beckons to be quelled!
Currently the existing group of adventurers were tasked with investigating and ending The Death Curse. After much struggle and seeing countless allies come and go, the group is now at Orolunga (NW on the provided map). They have been tasked with growing stronger and possibly finding a safe place for Tataka's younger sister, Kaikasi, to recover while the curse that plagues her is battled. The curse is said to lay its roots in some tomb in Omu.
Saja N'baza has informed the group that there are three places the group may likely find power and a possible solution to safety for Kaikasi:
- The Valley of Lost Honor is a battleground between firenewts and kobolds led by a dragon. Defeating one side or the other may earn treasure and some potent magic, but it will be a dangerous endeavor.
- Wreck of 'The Star Goddess' is surrounded by an area of undead activity. Survivors may remain, but if they do they are likely trapped by the undead menace. Tools and treasure may be found in the wreckage useful to your mission.
- Heart of Ubtao is a floating island in the sky thought to be a remnant of a native deity. In truth, Saja revealed it is a home to a strange and dangerous person. Many items and magics are there if only the group could find a way up to the island - perhaps a teleporter or such.
The group has also been told that if they should meet a man named Artus Cimber that they should inform him of the Death Curse and ask for his aid. He is a trusted person to Saja N'baza and is said to be carrying an artifact.
It just so happens that Artus is actually traveling with two new adventurers who will be joining our group! They will begin with a small area to explore while the group makes their way to encountering them.
