  1. Group B With everyone engage in close combat, Dolan hesitates again. Baldin calls on the Morninglord to sizzle the cultist warriors in their armor. The effect seems to take hold of one of the cultist archers as his scale mail seems to glow a slight red. Daltin grabs for a potion despite his rage and though it elicits swings from both of the cultists before him, he manages to deflect the blows and down the contents of the potion, a searing heat running through him as some of his wounds begin to knit together. With the draconic beats gone, Yohan can focus on the cultist warrior before him, smashing his mace into the hapless warrior and almost bringing him to his knees. The semi-translucent black scythe swipes at Yohan, missing its mark, before fading from view. The acolyte who's summoned it moves forward up the stairs, drawing a fine scythe as he enters the bubble of silence. Beldas, blades drawn, moves behind Daltin, ready to fill his place should the raging whirlwind of a warrior colapse. Another pair of dragon shaped bolts of dark energy slam into Daltin. While two cultists loose arrows at Daltin and Yohan, both flying wide, one swings at Daltin, but only grazes his breastplate. The cultist Yohan had struck retrieves a potion and tries to down it, opening him so swings from Daltin and Yohan as he does so. The dwarves, Bettargh included, let fly another volley of arrows, this time at the cultists. Once sinks into the shoulder of the cultist afflicted with Baldin's supplication. OOC Note 1: Daltin and Yohan get an AoO against the potion drinking cultist before their actions. Note 2: +1 for higher ground to attack any creature on the stair. Daurant, Holy Warrior of Moradin Daurant's eyes narrow and he shouts out as he rushes at the, now exposed, robed orc and leaps into the air (about as high as one might expect a heavily armored dwarf could), ignoring the rats and brining the axe in his left hand down hard on the orc, leaving himself slightly exposed as he does so.   4. Group A The skeletal orcs swing their falchions at the remaining dwarf warrior but do not manage to connect. The holy hammer smashes into one skeleton and shatters it with ease. Finwe completes a warding and steps forward, blade drawn. The cultists within the webbing can still be heard struggling within the tightly knit strands of arcane webbing. Qwynn rolls his barrel to the side and draws his blades as well. The two cultist zombies, barely visible though the dense webbing, seem to make some progress in breaking free of the webbing. The lone dwarf warrior, now flanked by Finwe and Qwynn, take the moment's respite to step back and let you two take point., injured as he is. OOC Note 1: +1 for higher ground to attack any creature on the stair. Note 2: Close creatures in the web have cover (+4 AC), far ones have total cover (can't be attacked).   5. If no one objects to them leaving and/or has something else to say, what would you like to do next..?

I do have to admit that while I don't let "that's not what my character would do" stubbornness get in the way of teamwork, it is out of character for him to hold on assaulting orcs and perhaps just as much, assaulting incapacitated foes... So any argument justifying this that Sugrin can make would be appreciated!
  7. Yes and yes. They wear scale mail and wield a longsword. They also have a steel shield when holding their longswords.
  8. Though powerful for ale, it's still ale, so no. Neither is the barrel, really, except perhaps if a really powerful or prolonged heat were applied to it.
  9. Per the post , I'd say no. Possibly if he were standing where the dwarves currently are and behind Daltin.
  10. Let's not sow confusion. There were three creatures before the group with draconic features: 1. A large flying humanoid creature with scale and draconic features and wings. Now defeated. 2. Two medium sized draconic looking hound-like beats that have just vanished. See edit of latest post.
