Emily gives Cole a noncommittal look at his question, but doesn't answer verbally. Seeing Jackson staring longingly at the fanny pack around her waist, she carefully repositions it with the firm intent of announcing ownership of the useful storage option. "He said Pellinore Jackson. He probably doesn't know where Steph is. He should watch out for whoever picks Gawain as their call-sign though."
-
Emily grumps to herself quietly, having torn a small rent in her otherwise pristine pair of jeans squeezing through the crack in the wall. She rolls her eyes as Mr. E bogarts the radio, but doesn't fight him for it. Instead she moves to the racks. She passes the weapons over(though she grabs the plastic box full of stakes) with a look of distaste, and instead picks up both the fanny pack and canvas bag. She dumps their contents out and belts the fanny pack around her waist. The canvas bag(with box of stakes in it) is slung over her shoulder. She adds some of the bottles(empty) to the bag, carefully wrapped in rags to prevent them from breaking. Finally, returning to the weapon rack, she picks up a small but useful utility hatchet, and after wrapping the head in some rags safely tucks it into the belt of the fanny pack.

It takes Kacey a moment to get Emily's attention, since she's scanning all the faces in the little shelter carefully, and the soldiers most of all. She looks uncomfortable as she look at their weapons. "Mm? Yeah. I'm good with whatever." She says after a moment, and sits carefully on the floor, giving Hannah and Short Amy a small and polite smile.
-
Emily keeps her mouth shut and quickly turns the volume down all the way on the radio. She grimly paddles as quietly but earnestly as she can to the shore with the others. She eyes Cole but, since he is being mute she doesn't ask questions either. Instead she helps tug the boat up on to shore, tensely keeping the water in view.
-
Emily decides to grab the radio, and places herself sitting on the tube next to one of the paddles. While the others clamber on she tucks the paddle under her arm, hanging on to the edge of the inflatable raft with one hand and with the other carefully spinning the dials between the emergency stations she knows.

Emily takes to the unplanned trip without complaint, staying quiet and conserving her phone's battery life as best she can. "If it's going to start getting damp from the water we should be careful, water could cause erosion or there could be sinkholes in the ground even down here." She looks sympathetically at Jackson and doesn't outright offer help, but does make a show of demanding a brief break to catch her breath, even if she looks like she could keep hiking all day.

"It detects and measures radiation in the immediate area Jackson. And I wouldn't let you go into underground tunnels alone."She answers Jackson's question first, then nods in solidarity with Kacey. "Mother and Father are probably okay, our house is older so it has a bomb shelter in the basement." She crosses her arms as Cole speaks, the young woman clearly uncomfortable at the idea of herself - or the others - holding weapons, and not having a good answer for their combat prowess.

"I think free admission to the museum is pretty cool." Emily adds softly. "I mean, we already get free admission for being students anyway. But still." Emily takes a slow look around the space they're stuck in. "If we need too, I think the Gift Shop has some snacks in it. Depending on how long we may be stuck down here."
-
"Is that how you got here, through the underground tunnels?" Emily asks quietly. She hadn't said anything when she'd popped out of the room, and had quietly followed her teacher down with the others. Her eyes pointedly glance at the sword their biology teacher was holding, then back at the man's eyes without comment.
-
"I ate breakfast with my parents." Is Emily's answer. She gives Jackson a small, concerned frown. "That is both deeply unhealthy and illegal for you to have Jackson." She warns him not with anger in her tone, but worse. Disappointment. "What signal will you use?" Emily doesn't protest the plan, though it's unclear just how much help she'd be if something dangerous were to happen. Or how terrifying she could be to a potential adversary. She crosses over closer to one of the employee doors(again frowning at Jackson smoking as she passes him), and waits in the doorway for Cole to finish talking.
-
With further clarification(and a minute or two of thought), Emily carefully climbs up and into Jackson's pickup, sitting primly at the far end. She tilts her head thoughtfully, then knocks on the window. "There's an old Bus stop on Elm street. If That's what she told Cole, she wants us to meet her there at noon. We could get there early. It might be better to park a street or two over and walk." She purposefully gives Cole some space in the truck, aware of how he'd reacted to her holding his arm.
-
Emily watches Jackson arrive without comment, though as always she was a little sad at the state of his vehicle. She felt it would hurt his pride too much to offer potential solutions for it though, and instead keeps talking to Cole. "I think you should tell me exactly what Kacey said on the phone, since that sounds like a coded message." She reaches out and grabs Cole's arm, pulling him closer so she can study what he'd written down carefully.
