There was a brief silence from everyone at the entrance. Hearing the words of Remy made all of the Congo Civilians rethink their actions. Nodding their heads and looking towards their peers they all began to agree with Remy's statement. Little by little the crowd began to dissipate and enter back into the city. Though there was a success, things were still happening in the shadows within the area. As Remy removed herself from the cockpit of her Mech and Luc was busy focusing on gathering intel, the Radar systems happened to pick up on movements in the distance.. Those Radar hit would quickly vanish before Remy or Luc would notice them. As minutes went by, the Airship would eventually enter into the area and vast amount of crewmen would begin loading up the materials left within the Port. Result Remy managed to successfully Overcome the Crowd Aspect.

The Ground Force Team Leader would hear No.17's suggestion and simply respond. " Throwing out mines with this many witnesses is probably not a good idea. But I do agree these civilians need to be cleared out, they are starting to cause trouble and its getting hard to see what's really going on out there."

Compel Received by Remy: Failure to Locate Intruders. A small group of unknown personnel managed to slip by security and entered into the shipping yard.

As the both of them pressed forward, they both would realize that the area had been completely cleared out. Infantry Units moved in and managed to take up security based positions to ensure that no civilian could make entry without notice. As the hours went by, a group of civilians would gather at the Alpha Entrance which forced majority of the ground security to focus their efforts to that zone. Some of the civilians would even begin to throw rocks at the Ground Units positions in an attempt to hurt NATO Troops. After a few hours, the Airship USS Sandy could be seen in the horizon. Result: Remy wouldn't find anything out of the ordinary with their scan. Nothing was picked up via their action.

After a week of the presidents failing attempt at gaining back public trust and control over his populace, it was certain that things were not going to simply go back to normal within the capital. The Civilians had completely pushed out all of NATO and Warsaw assets while still keeping control over GlenCore materials. The ODST Team was then informed that they would be sent on a mission alongside the Rangers to gain control over the Ports which held POH Materials. It was going to be their job to support ground infantry in gaining control over the port and allowing for shipping operations to continue. Upon arrival with the Mecha's most of the Civilians quickly removed themselves from the area and those who did not were swiftly arrested by the Ground units. The Goal was to await for the USS Sandy to arrive and load the POH Materials on board. Once that was completed the team was to exfil back to base Hayward. The Ranger Mecha Team would quickly set up positions on Alpha and Bravo Entrance. [Invokable: X2 Guards on Duty] There were three areas within the Port. 17 was successful at getting Lesandra back to safety within the Humvee. Once that was done it was clear that the event quickly turned into a hostile protest against the President. One of the Team Leads would make the call for the group to head back to the base as the city was no longer safe to deal with. For the next few days, things with the Congo Capital and GlenCore were shaky, as civilians had completely taken over the ports and were refusing to allow Glen Core or City workers from importing or exporting goods necessary to upkeeping the POH. Other representatives of NATO were sent into the city in hopes of being able to talk with the President but he was confirmed to be missing in action. None of this was good, and if the situation continued down this path the city would most likely need to be taken over by NATO forces before WARSAW could.

No. 17 managed to quickly reach the back of the stage in order to get to the Lesandra Glenn who was the VIP of the event. Currently she was being held in place by the Congo Private Security Team who was also charged with guarding the president. Once close enough the Security would nod to No.17 who was then placed in control of Lesandra and she was quickly escorted to the Humvee to be taken to safety. While this was happening, another person would hop onto the stage and with a Bullhorn begin playing a recorded entry from a small device. The message being played was that of the Congo President and a Famous Terrorist who was known to have been operating within the Red Zones outside of the City. Before it could finish the person was removed from the stage and the bullhorn removed. When the crowd realized what just had happened, violence quickly began to ensue. Before No.17 was able to get Lesandra to the Humvee, they were clearly surrounded by hostile civilians. Within seconds they began to attempt to grab at her in order to take her hostage or maybe even attack her. " Please dont hurt us!" Lesandra would beg them as she attempted to evade being grabbed. The Civilians would attempt at grabbing ahold of Lesandra +5. Hostile Group +4 Physical, +3 Social Stress: [1][2][3]

No.17 managed to successfully subdue his attacker as he quickly fell to the floor after being struck. Remy's target also successfully fell to the ground as her bullet managed to incapacitate the target. Sadly for the target, its group members did not turn around to save them thus decided to leave them there. Within seconds, the other military soldiers had made it to No.17 and assisted him in handcuffing and escorting the subject to their Humvee.

" Im glad you feel that way, I have no objections." This voice was clearly that of someone from the UK. As No.17 feinted forward the man would quickly read 17's movements. Managing to back up the man would quickly remove a pistol and take a shot toward No.17. As this was taking place Remy would notice the group attempting to leave through the southern part of the field and into a small alleyway. Distance would be the only DC which would be a +2 due to her using a sniper.

No. 17 managed to lightly tap the gun up just before the man was able to take the shot causing the bullet to go flying over the heads of the speakers. Instantly the crowd became a stampede as everyone began pushing and shoving to get out of the way. Looking back the man would quickly turn their body and attempt to strike No.17 in the face with weapon. The other members of the group would quickly scatter throughout the crowd in an attempt to get away. New Scene Aspect Chaos in the Crowds The Man Attacks No.17 with a +4 attempt.

No.17 managed to quickly locate the group as they continued to push through the crowd. The soldiers to the squadron would quickly move in, " I see them! Right in front of you No.17, one seems to be reaching into a backpack." Seconds later the group member would pop his head back up while holding onto a quickly assembled rifle. Aiming it right towards Lessandra! " We don't have the shot! Do something!" With only a few seconds to react what would Remy or No.17 do? Using a gun would require a high level of accuracy +7 while attempting to get any closer would require a high level of speed and control +6..

The current challenge would be for them both to locate the group within the dense crowd. This would require a roll of +5 Notice. (Teamwork can be used on this action) Failure would result in the group getting dangerously close to the Speaker while staying completely hidden in the crowd. Along with not allowing the party to react to any action taken by this group.

Moments later, the President and Lessandra would make their way onto the stage. The crowd would begin to chant and shout as the military escorts of the Congo got into place. The crowd was extremely dense making it very difficult in terms of attempting to maneuver through (Crowd: Superb +5). Only a few second would go by before the president would begin to speak and his voice over the microphone would simply drown out all of the other noises in the area. Shortly after Lessandra would find herself walking up to the podium and begin speaking towards the crowd. While this was taking place, Remy would notice a group of 5 men quickly jump over a fence and integrate themselves into the crowd. The story would pick up on the date of the event. Glenncore Reps and the President of the Congo were to be gather on the platform in less than an hour. It would be up to Blue and Red Teams to secure the park alongside the Congo Police Department. The Leader of Blue Team would again instruct everyone to get into their positions that were prepped a day or so before hand. " Alright guys, today is the big day.. the crowd here is already large and Im sure once the speech starts it will only grow bigger. An anti Glenncore group already attempted to sabotage the area today by trying to light the stage on fire. Those people were quickly arrested but Im sure they wont stop there. Keep an eye out and be ready for an issue." All assets would find themselves in their areas, along with additional units pratroling the area with Humvees.

Scene End.

Finally the both of them would reach the Churro stand which was a bit deep into the market place within the down town district. Running the stand was a young boy no older than 15 along with his mother who was making the food. " Good afternoon to the both of you! Would you like some churros?" The boy would then point to the menu. If they ordered food around the corner there was a small park which they could sit and eat their food. Inside of the park was a man who had a parrot that he was allowing the children to pet and put onto their shoulders. The park was rather clean, and the smell of freshly cut grass overtook the area.

Once all the pre op recon was completed, the team would be ordered to meet back next to the fountain that was near the field. The Team Lead would then begin his debrief, " So looks like we have everything pretty much covered. We do have someone watching us from what No. 17 observed but we don't have a positive ID. The ground work as been done and Ill file everything to the Captain. The staging crew along with forward security should be pulling in shortly once they get here and put up the Tents for us, you all are free to change out and explore the city a little bit. Just make sure you stay close by and utilize the buddy system."

No. 17 would not be able to catch up or locate the man as they swept into the crowd. " No. 17 just write down his description." As he stood in the crowd, the memory would soon shoot through his head of one of his team mates telling him of someone wearing the same clothing and had the same behaviors on the Terminus after the building fire.

Blue Team would look at No.17 in slight disbelief as he managed to scale the building so easily while wearing a suite. Seeing him request to be on bottom, they didnt have any objections. " Yeah just use the coms if you see anything." Once No.17 was on the ground, he would happen to observe a strange man who was wearing a black turban and a blue robe standing a few feet away taking pictures of the group. After snap shoting a few photos of Blue Team the man would quickly get lost back into the busy crowds. " Blue Team Lead to Red Team do you copy. We are set up and ready, area looks good and we've made all adjustments for the ceremony."

Remy manages to engage with a local african woman, who delightfully escorts her and another soldiers through the back alleyways of the city. Before entering the alleyway they were met by two gang affiliated men blocking the entry. The woman pulled out a few congo credits and the men moved out of the way. It appeared that the men acted as a toll for the back route of the city. " You can move way faster through the city using these alleyways but you need to be careful one wrong turn and you can end up in some gang territory." Remy would discover the aspect Highway of the Slums x2   Luc would finally make it to the building that they were supposed to set up at. Majority of the buildings looked rather unstable and have a few obstacles that had to be overcome before he could make it to the top. Luckily Luc also had majority of Blue Team alongside him that would offer help if need be. ISSUE In order to get to the top of the building would require a +5 Athletics Roll. This is due to the various environmental dangers that pose a serious issue to Luc and Blue Team in order to safely get on the rooftops. Blue Team would offer Luc Team Work which would be a +1 to Luc's Roll.

The Pilots emerged from their Humvees, the sun blazing from the clear, cloudless sky above. The air was thick with the smells of Kinshasa. The two military vehicles had dropped them off in front of the bustling street markets of the capital. The roads were filled with cars, buses, and pedestrians, and everyone was talking and laughing as they went about their day. Both Humvees made their way through the crowded streets, taking in the sights and sounds around them. Everywhere they looked, there were people selling food and clothing from makeshift stalls. The walls of the buildings were old and crumbling, but they still stood at an impressive height. The group finally reached their destination: the National Park. It was a wide open space, framed by tall buildings in the near distance. The stage was set up at the center of the park, ready for a speech by Lisandra and the president. The Pilots began to survey their surroundings, taking note of the open area and the tall buildings in the near distance that could be used for a sniper position they needed. They also noted the thick foliage and the trees that had grown up around the park, providing shade and cover. They continued to move through the park, eventually reaching a large fountain at the center. The water was still and the air was peaceful, but the Pilots could sense a tension in the air. They knew that the speech would soon be taking place here, and they all shared a sense of anticipation for what could happen. The group continued their exploration, taking in the sights as they went. They paused at a monument that stood on the outskirts of the park. It was a stone column, topped with a bronze eagle, its wings outstretched towards the sky. The Team Capitan quickly motioned for everyone to dismount for the Humvees and to meet neat the statue. Once everyone was out, he would say to the group. " Alright I dont think were going to get much else from sitting in the Vechs. We need to do sound survey via foot. Remy and No.17, you will be attached to Blue Team which will be setting up positions on the Buildings that over look the park. Go ahead and make your way over there and figure out where you're going to set up. Be careful and radio back in if you need any help." Once explained, Blue Team would nod over to Remy and Luc in a gesture for them to begin heading out with them. Along the walk the other three soldiers would introduce themselves to the pilots. " Greetings, were Nathan, Kyle and Lucas its nice to be working with both of you. I know you both are not marksmen but Im sure we could use the extra eyes on this field. We were told its going to be quite the event."  

Getting on the Plane, the both of them were passed bullet proof vests and a helmet. Once attacthed to the infantry coms, the team lead would simply state. " We will be touching down in an hour. We have two Humvees that will be used for our full team to survey the area and find the best approach to protecting VP. Keep your eyes on a swivel, not everyone in that town likes NATO and would do anything to cause some chaos."   And with that the plane would take off towards the Capital of the Congo.

Remy would find in her inspection that this SR25 had be expertly sighted, making getting on target and getting a good shoot be that much easier. Remy Gained x1 Invoke of "Expert Sighted Gun"

As the both of them entered into the Hanger, there stood the Lie Vante and the Coucou Gris simply waiting for them to enter. But this was simply not the time and they would pass by it as they walked closer to the plane. Outside stood a fairly decent amount of US soldiers and GlenCore Representatives. a young soldier would come rushing up towards them. " Greetings, I know you guys are pilots but we don't have a secondary sniper unit and we really could use the help. Does either one of you know how to handle the SR-25? Its a really good gun and the handling isnt that bad. But from the sounds of it, Lessandra and the Congo Pres are going to be doing some kind public announcement together. We need to make sure she's protected at this event." The soldier would simply hold out the weapon hoping that one of the two of them would grab it.
