  1. Okay, that definitely was useful. I've added a snippet of those days as backstory. Now, I've been pondering on what to use for a cohort. How would you feel about an awakened animal? Nothing big, something like a raven.
  2. So, I just realized that, while writing some of the backstory, I need to know how Bruce was coping during the 10 days. Any thoughts?
  3. Wow, given all the wizard applications, I'm considering changing up for something else. But I wanted to play Ezramil again :(
  4. So, when it comes to prepared spells: how many may we learn? Also, may I start with a familiar if I have the Find Familiar spell known?
  5. Name: Race/Class: Elf Wizard (Evoker) Description: Ezramil is tall and slender. He wears a sturdy pair of leather pants, lined with wool, an unadorned shirt, gloves and a cloak. He keeps the cloak kept around his person most of the time. He has piercing silver eyes and white unkempt hair. His staff is kept near to hand, and on his belt is a wand with arcane runes etched into it. He wears a silver ring with blue stones on his right hand. Personality: Ezramil is intensely focused, and acts untrusting of people, and can seem cold and unfeeling at the worst of times. But, when push comes to shove, he will use as much of his spells as needed to make the enemy stop attacking, whether in death or retreat. Background: Ezramil took training at a young age, after he accidentally set his parents' inn on fire. He studied with a master wizard for about 10 years, then was sent off into the world to "gain experience with reality." He has been wandering on his own ever since. He actually enjoys playing the hero, saving the day with a well-placed Fire Bolt spell.
  6. No, that works great. A house that primarily does trade should have an agreement, or even an alliance, with a house that provides protection. It's only sensible.
  7. So, rolled ability scores, and got a whopping total of a 21 point buy. Ouch. Going with the 34.
  8. Name: Description: Anton is a tall human male, with a slender build and braided dark brown hair. His skin is almost the shade of dark chocolate, but just a little bit paler. He typically dresses modestly in public: nice clothing with a minimum of jewelry. The back of his hands are each tattooed with a different deity's symbol (The rising sun for Pelor on his left hand, the gold coin on his right). His dark green eyes often have a look of kindness. Personality: Anton is calm under most circumstances. He is usually kind and generous to a fault, but he is also protective of the common folk. He views Noblesse Oblige as a creed of sorts, because he knows that the poor and downtrodden don't stay that way forever. Background: Anton of House Zieboldt remembers that day well. He was only nine years old, but his parents and uncle ordered him to make friends with the Wayne Family heir "for the good of the family". The Zieboldts were a family primarily for trade and transport, so they needed a bond with a militarily stronger family like the Waynes. Anton understood that much, so he obeyed. He was not prepared for Bruce to be as talkative as the other kids that were sent to cheer him up, but the poor boy was practically mute when they all arrived. It was one of the other children that started trying to draw him out, and while he noticed that Bruce perked up a little with each game, he was still generally quiet and withdrawn. There were a couple of times when Anton would see Bruce off to the side, and bring over some food, so the two boys would sit and eat in peace and quiet. It was only when all the children opted to explore the massive cavern structure (at least, it was massive to a bunch of 9-11 year olds...) that the Wayne heir really came out of his taciturn state. Family : (92%) Zieboldt from the Three Dam Baronies, primarily New Castle Gods : Pelor (Traders and Merchants start their days early), Waukeen (obvious, for luck in bargaining) Business : Traders, Merchants and Supply. It is said that if you want to get your goods across the borders, the Zieboldt family are THE family to know. Flag : Golden Sun Rising over a Brown Wagon.
  9. Hey, are you still interested in Lady and the Mistress? We're still playing, and Sunari is still with the group.
  10. Hey, Bron. I invited you to my Mutants and Masterminds game. Did you lose interest?
  11. Hi Akela,

I am applying for your The Dakron Progeny! group and I had the idea to maybe play a Wemic as The Beast you mention there. Would that be fitting? Possible? Please let me know! Otherwise my posted character idea will be fine, I might exchange Ranger for something else, though. The idea is the ultimate ranged combatant, casting spells and shooting arrows when the spells run out or the situation calls for it.

    Cheers,

    Simba
