  1. Inside the large room is statues and other objects of art  fallen from their plinths and lie in broken shards across the floor, and centuries of exposure have ruined most of the paintings that hang on the walls in elaborate frames.

     

    There is a huge center stairwell going up ahead and on the right way a similar grand stairwell going down into darkness. Everything is silent but there sign of recent movement through the room. The stairwell is easily 15 feet wide.

    i am unsure you can as that is the only skill that deals with magic.

     

    I found this:

    Using Mysticism to Identify Ongoing Spell Effects

    Skill Check: Mysticism

    DC: 15 + 1.5 × the spell’s level

    Action: This usually takes 1 round (6 seconds).

    Retry: Yes, but each attempt takes 1 round.

    Process

    1. Observe the Spell: The character must be able to perceive the spell effect. This typically means seeing, hearing, or otherwise sensing the manifestation of the spell.
    2. Mysticism Check: Roll a Mysticism check against a DC of 15 + 1.5 times the spell's level.
    3. Identify the Effect: If the check is successful, the character identifies the spell and understands its effects.

    Example

    If a character encounters a Haste spell (a 3rd-level spell), the DC to identify it would be:

    • DC: 15 + 1.5 × 3 = 19.5 (rounded to 20)

    The character would roll a Mysticism check, and if the result is 20 or higher, they successfully identify the ongoing Haste spell and understand its effects.

    Key Points

    • Ongoing Spell: This applies to spells that have a duration and are actively affecting a target or area.
    • Immediate Perception: The character needs to be able to perceive the spell effect to identify it.

    but in the skill it does not list you can but I guess it makes sense to use the casting a spell rules

    With Jake and Enoch going out of the 150-foot range of the mind net, Ozen has to go off to find them. When he finds them he says. "Lets get going, we don't have time to stand around here!" He does not want to hear it and get them to leave whatever they are mess with to rejoin the group. Once you all are together Mind Net is back on and you move forward with Samuel in lead.

     

    Another small group of infected is met, but Samuel's battle must have passed along as they move fast the other way when they see Samuel. Samuel eats it all up. Ozen Whispers "Should I bust his bubble and tell him I helped him with the Vampire, if not he is going to be incorrigible about it."

    This tower reaches upward like a talon, its stonework studded in chiseled runes. A blue light shines from its

    highest window.

     

    You make good time to frozen tower and slow when you are about 60 feet from the base.

     

    Ice has engulfed the lower floors of this crumbling tower. Pink light Pours out the highest window - a single point of illumination in a dark and out of way region of the city.

    There are multiple spells in effect on the body both transmutation and... necromancy. But didn't the capt say that necromancy was blocked on this whole planet???

    Not liking the sound of these negotiations Ozen tells everyone to stay put and he sneaks out to see what Samuel is up to. He reappears when he leaves the 10 foot area of Zora. He pops his head out and sees Samuel in battle with 4 or 5 ghouls, with about 15 dead around him. The vampire stands nearby with his back to Ozen watching. Wanting to get closer he tries to use his wild talent twice but fails then using the ways the psionic school taught him, he burns 60 hps to gain 6 PP to go down two sizes to Tiny and moves forward again.

     

    When Samuel finishes off half of the ghouls, the vampire says "Ok you seem to be worthy to pass, but let's just see how worthy you are, you turn me to mist, and you can be my right hand in the coming battle." Ozen can see Samuel is in bad shape, the ghouls had done a number on him and there is no way he is taking the fresh vampire out. He gets within 50 feet of the vampire and decides to help, even though it will piss Samuel off.

    James has not come outside since he gained him in the Sim, so he was very happy when Ozen activated his motion. Using hostile wound transfer and choosing James as the toucher, James beats his silent wings toward the unsuspecting vampire. Not knowing how to tell between vampires and Nosferatu, Ozen was unaware that what was in front of him was one of the army's officers.

    As Samuel releases an Arc Of Lightning at his foe turning 5 ghouls to dust who were watching in a line, the vampire is too slow to get out of the way and takes full damage. Still with over half his health though, he did not see the flying object land on him. As Ozen's wounds are channeled through James, the vampire just explodes into bits of flesh all over Samuel. Ozen has to keep down a laugh and all the wounds he causes himself disappear. With only 5 ghoul's left and Samuel looking like something out of a B monster movie, Ozen collects James and returns to the party.

  6. Not far from the party, you find an Infirmary. Peering through the gap in a collapsed wall, you see a fifteen-foot square infirmary in disarray, with an operating table in the middle of the room. Leather straps extend from one side to the other but rise in the air like a body sits strapped in. Your senses confirm, that there is something tied down to the table invisible but unmoving.

  7. just waiting on some posts on reactions of what is going on and if anyone wanted to check out jail or not. I will wait a few days if nothing posted we can move on again.
