  1. Jin switched his dance style up and threw an over the top Russian accent into his voice.   "Da comrade, zis tiny dancer go das verdanya!" Jin carefully does a few Russian squat dancing kicks so he can redirect the trap to where the sad ghost is.   "Aaah it's sad I didn't place any bets on this capture... oh well" "C'mon Specs would you quit playing around? Just give it to Kev, he's the one with the magic touch." Despite, the critical comment, Jin's lighthearted delivery is quite playful as he tries to snap his brainy partner out of his funk. "I knew it. There he is. C'mon bring it in" Jin jokingly tries to get as much of the ectoplasm guac chunks onto Specs as he possibly can. OOC Sheet
  2. Jin rolls his eyes at the mainstream pop song.   "Yeah! Kick it. You gotta fight for your right to paaaarty!" Jin paraphrases Beastie Boys and switches his dancing up to more of a breakdancing style. As he says kick it, he kicks over a ghost trap towards the cursing imps so he can help get rid of the mischief maker. "I got these imps Kev! Keep that big guy busy, I got your back!   "I'm not sure I can even fire my weapon at this thing. That's future Jin's problem. Let's focus on these guys first" Jin thinks. OOC Sheet
  3. Jin acknowledged Specs only with a momentarily quizzical look as if to say "...hmm maybe I should kick him too". But he shook his head, talking himself out of the choice.   "Pay attention Specs! And thanks!." he says, proton-pack wand in hand. Jin starts moonwalking in attempt to counteract the curse. He even goes as far as humming riff of 'Beat It!'   "Now this is a party! I like my odds of keeping my pack today" OOC Sheet Going to do the roll here before finishing up my post.
  4. Jin Fortune casually hops a fence as he joins the group. He overheard there had been a commotion in the head office and hoped his absence was missed in the confusion. Jin had been, for the lack of a better word, stuck in an intense backroom gambling situation and had not been permitted to leave. Making him miss his normal punch time. "I just hope the twins don't write me up again... that's the last thing I need. Maybe I can offer to buy Kyle that stapler he's been eyeing and he'll just make the whole tardiness problem go away."   "Holy guacamole, brochacho! I guess it could have been worse... it could have been queso." As he takes note of Kev's comment. A look of disgust registers on his face. He shares a glance with Kev as if to say, "can I kick these kids?". After all, kicking is kinda his thing.   Instead he opts to kick over a trash can and force the students to disperse, as he aims to crush the chips. "Nothing to see here folks! No need to panic. Hey! Here's an idea, why don't you all go to your dorms and take a nice long siesta. Let the professionals get to work okay. Okay.".   OOC Sheet

  6. Hi everyone, happy to bust some ghost guac with you all! Edit - @mykesfree not sure if I did the dice roll right since it didn't add the ghost die result to the total but I haven't used the new site a lot yet
  7. I just finished putting Jin Fortune's app up. I put talents that were outside of the standard options so I just presented them like Mathematics - Gambling. Which shows you the standard fallback option I'd be open to. I look forward to your decision. Thanks!

  9. I did see the Aulrun piece so I added a more recent history for Storfy. I didn't see anything about humans only in the character details topic so I missed that point. Yes please ping me if a good time to introduce Storfy.
  10. In the quaint fishing town of Aulrun, Storfy found his niche as the jolly harbor caretaker, a role he embraced with his trademark enthusiasm. He would spend his days marveling at the different types of boats, their nets, and the glittering expanse of the sea, often muttering, "What's that then? A fishy dance party down there?" Despite his affable nature, Storfy's inherent traits posed challenges for the adventurer's path. His profound attachment to his elderly grandmother, who relied on his care, and his innocent gullibility made him susceptible to deception in unfamiliar surroundings. His unwavering curiosity also tended to lead him astray, causing him to become easily distracted from his responsibilities. Storfy's heart was deeply rooted in Aulrun, his family, and his role at the harbor, all of which combined to keep him content within the town's familiar embrace.
  11. Storfy the Village Idiot   Stats Fitness: 1 Reflexes: 1 Awareness: 1 Intelligence: 1 Willpower: 1 Hit Points: 9 (2d6+Willpower)             Background Storfy, the endearing village idiot, emerged from the folklore of the remote hamlet of Elderglen nestled amidst ancient forests. Legends speak of Storfy being born of a curious union between a gentle half-giant and a reclusive forest troll, a pairing unheard of in their world. This extraordinary heritage bestowed upon him a towering stature and robust features, combining the best of both lineages. Despite his imposing appearance, Storfy possessed an unblemished childlike wonder, forever captivated by the mysteries of the woods, its creatures, and the stars above. His endearing innocence and infectious laughter became a source of joy for the villagers, who cherished his ability to see the world through unfiltered eyes, reminding them of the magic that surrounded them.   As Storfy's wide eyes caught sight of the farmer leading a placid cow back to the village, his face lit up with excitement. He scratched his big bald green head and exclaimed, "Eh? What's that then? A fuzzy, four-legged cloud dispenser? Could have a rain of milk any time you want! Nah not that, but what if it's a forest whisperer? Yeah, like it tells you secrets in moo-language, like where the juiciest berries are hidden!" Storfy's musings were met with chuckles from the villagers, who were endlessly amused by his unique perspective on the world around him.
  12. If you're reopening the recruitment. I think I'll bow out at this time too. I don't typically use the baldr version of mythweavers and I'm planning on starting something new up myself.   Thanks for letting me join and Test out the system!
  13. Lol imagine if the rules were like Gunther you have to reload your board. Wait... wut?
  14. the Roll20 thing is optional right? I'd rather not link accounts in this way. I'd prefer to keep this play by post
  15. Gunther was given unofficial leadership out of fear and mutual respect for his "baseball" skills. At best, I think most reactions he gets are still lukewarm to his presence in town. The members of the board like him for his melee style of violence.
  16. Yeah it's much easier with the markup style formatting on mythweavers than on here.    I think if the source had a better html editor it would be easier to work with. Nothing is worse than doing HTML on a plain white Notepad because it's not as immediately obvious where the elements are.
  17. Weird cause the Pipe Bolt-Action rifle doesn't have inaccurate it has unreliable.   I made the other changes though. I liked the idea of Slayer, making my version of a much less stealthy Rambo that can do some damage when he gets up close.
  18. The engraving is a radioactive symbol and Gunther values it as an item of importance because it gives him hope that he'll find an irradiated, abandoned vault that he can use as a base of operations.
  19. Okay I've adjusted the stats.    I don't see it as a big issue. For one, he only has a base Perception so he's not likely to notice what his stealthier allies are doing. Two, this was due to the circumstances of his past where he had been forced out of his home and hunted by stealth boy using enemies. So there was a time, where he'd kill them and destroy their stealth boys. His need to snatch up all copies of 'Life & Love' or 'Meeting People' shows he's actually a friendly giant who only looks mean and scary. He's at a point where his hatred of stealth boys is mostly gone.
  20. 1. Anytime I cripple a limb in V.A.T.S. Using Mister Sandman on helpless NPCs. 2. If you're up for it
  21. @Krimsin @X51 Yeah that makes sense. I think some of the rules in the book needing errata is what gets these kind of questions raised. Based on that info, since I'm not planning to be agile then Big Leagues does make more sense (if I decide to take it).   I'm still not even totally clear on healing like Fast Healing mentions getting a free d20 for STR + END checks but in other parts indicate that check is INT + Medicine.
  22. Looking over the perks what makes Basher worthwhile? Doesn't taking Big Leagues also add the vicious damage to gun bashes? I ask out of curiosity because I like the idea of the Slayer perk better and will be taking Slayer instead but I may pick up either of these later on
  23. Yeah that's fair 😀 it is a weapon that costs over 300 caps and I start with 5. I was just being cheeky anyways. Super Mutant Behemoth? Maybe I'll just try and Gun Bash it to death... see if that works.
