  1. So, to the players, are we going to do the shipwreck option? Also, who all is intending on hiring mercenaries? I was looking for an option of hiring some acolytes/adepts (low-level clerics), but I don't see an option for that.

Staff of Healing: This item will heal 2-7 (Id6+ 1) points of damage per use. It may only be used once per day on each person, but will heal any number of persons once a day. It does not have nor use any charges.

Thank you! Where did you find the description? I only have the basic and expert books.

@Eric, is a staff of healing acceptable?

  3. I'm torn between choosing a flaming sword or a staff of healing. Part of the problem is that I can't seem to find a description for the staff of healing, just a mention on pg. 36. What does it do exactly?

So I found this 'Wrath of the Immortals' book. It apparently gives special powers to clerics depending upon which immortal the cleric serves. Would any of that book be allowed? To be clear, I'm looking at a cleric of Vanya. The special clerical powers offered by her (according to that book) are that the cleric is able to use swords, daggers, and lances.

@Eric, sorry to bother you, but can I get a ruling on this? I was trying to find out more about the pantheon when I saw a mention of the 'wrath of the immortals' book (which was a free download on DriveThruRPG). I just don't know how much (if any) of the book would be allowed.

I plead for you to go cleric. With at least two of the characters having fairly low hit points, we are going to need a cleric. 😉

Yep, I'm going to go with cleric.

Coming to a stop, the half-orc took another deep breath and slowly exhaled as he pulled the bowstring back, aimed at the mysterious kobold and fired.

    Bonus Types

The important aspect of bonus types is that two bonuses of the same type don’t generally stack. With the exception of dodge bonuses, most circumstance bonuses, and racial bonuses, only the better bonus of a given type works. Bonuses without a type always stack, unless they are from the same source.

    Post

Khan took a moment to take in the scenario before him. "Something big and powerful killed all of those people. We can catch them off guard if we attack now." he said quietly as he notched an arrow.

  19. Okay, I'm ready to get started creating my character. How do you want us to determine ability scores? And is there any particular setting that this module will be in (Greyhawk, FR, etc.) for background purposes?
