His scales are a deep blue-ish green that is nearly black in places, though lighter patches of scars crisscross his hide alluding to the savage nature of life in the swamp regions north of town. His reptilian eyes glow a yellow green and his voice is rough, as common was never intended to be spoken by his people, his words tend to blur into animalistic hisses, grunts and barks. Despite his seeming primitive appearance and lack of formal education, there is great wisdom lurking beneath for those brave enough to seek it. Personality Largely uninterested in the trappings of civilization, he is deeply in tune with the natural order of his home, and sensitive to the threads of darkness that infest it. History The swamps hold several tribes of crocodilian lizardmen, some still worshipping an ancient and nameless evil that lies buried below who's infestation still bubbles up like swamp gas. Kossk is from the Stonehide tribe, who were the first to rebel against the dark shamans and seek their freedom. Savage battles are still fought semi regularly between the free tribes and those still in thrall to the darkness over hunting territory and the sacred pools where the free crocodilians worship their nature god. Recently, the Stonehide shaman had several prophetic dreams and sent Kossk forth from the swamp in search of an artifact that could banish the evil beneath the waters permanently.
