I saw your thread in General Discussion and I understood perfectly your frustration when people began trying to drive you away from your class choice just because it's power isn't optimized. *sigh* Hate it...

I just wanted to suggest, if you still need the advice, a feat. I would post it in the thread just to shut their mouths, but I dislike the arguments around this kind of stuff. It leads nowhere.

Practised Spellcaster. Complete Divine. Your caster level is increased by +4 but it can't be higher than your HD. Perfect for those PrC's that don't have full spell progression. You won't gain 9th level spells, but the ones you have will be as powerful as they'll ever be.

Suggestions apart, I understand your view of wanting to play a concept, no matter if it is weak or strong. I do the same and love it.
