I thought it was more of a 1 person with 8 minions problem than 2 people with 1 or two. 

Should we be mentioning other players in our posts when we address them?  Just curious.

The dried blood was hours old, not much else could be found out from this, but at least the threat was likely passed.  It was not common for a predator to stick around for hours after a kill, especially if there was no meat or bones to gnaw.  ~Fine, you keep your blades... who's blood is this.  She said you were looking for your friends~  She looked at him again, taking measure as to rule him out as the splatterer, for as quick as he was with the swords you didn't make this sort of mess and come out of it clean in her experience, not without magic. 

There was still the druid that she wanted to speak with, perhaps the elfess may know him.  ~Do you know the druid who lives near the lake, Omnus?~

you just drag and drop the actual image not the url, then it generally appears waaaayyyyy too big, hold ctrl+right click and choose edit to amend size, then pic left or right for orientation to make a decent header.

Ps how fresh is that blood splatter?  Is it wet enough to taste?

Being large and ferocious usually meant often she got her way, most people gave her a wide berth and rarely looked her in the eye.  This man had his blades out in a blink ready to fight, but he retracted them just as quickly.  It was fair enough, laying your throat bare to a stranger was idiocy, at least he was no idiot.  This elfess caught her by surprise though, using magic that gave her an strange feeling, as if she was understanding what the young woman was saying in two ways at once.  Her touch was nice, she had been trying to get that spot and... did the elf just boop her snoot?

Giving a sidelong glance at the elf, though not really trusting that she wasn’t being played a fool by this fellow, she swung her large head back towards the swordsman.  She sniffed, then tilted her head curiously. “..rrR?” The blood smell wasn’t coming from him.  She sniffed again, her scent honing in on the blood spray near a strange metal staff.  Pawing at it the shapeshifter tried to get a sense for what the staff was, what the blood was from, and how it was killed to leave this sort of splatter.

Hrmmm... What do you mean by presence or force of personality? 

My inclination about a high cha is that it's someone you'd definitely have an opinion about.  Either good or bad.  So if she was studying him, one of many I presume, how would he react?  I wonder if he'd even remember her, given her cha is 8.  Though she would have been the only small tabaxi around. 

That's even better.  Young wizard trying to study a charming idiot... At least I assume he has some charm with a 17 cha

lol, well he is a bard... I had to read a couple times.  I didn't read the posts not directed at me at first, so didn't realize that it was even Vel and Aaliyah until GM Saint mentioned I may be watching them in this thread.  I already had planned on reacting this way, just so happens that it works for this character to do so, so great call by Saint.

The question is how will Vel react to a telepathic direwolf?

@Diofant Wolf is not near you guys I don't think.  It's jumping out between a man and woman, I'm guessing its and elven warlock and a human fighter, not near you guys... well at least not exactly in between you.

Thanks! that appears to be it, though it is a lot of finagling to get the percentages to look the way you want them.  As you can see the intent is to make a header for a post, I'm thinking a table is not the right option for it, and am looking at just setting the image left and then the details to the right. 

Though if you have any tips I'd be much obliged.

@Knave It's rather likely that Katrina and Tal would know each other, as she was at the university as well and a student of Lorrimor.  She would have been super interested in studying the magical effects the dragon gland seemed to have on him, and whether it was something that could be duplicated alchemically or why it had reacted that way with him and no other... it was obvious to her that it wasn't in fact fossilized as suspected, but instead petrified and must somehow have been dispelled or maybe it simply wore off?  I could see her line of questioning moving from alchemy to folklore with superstitions and magic theories and conditions, going toward "Is there any dragon blood in your family? Anything that may be magical or anti-magical? Elemental perhaps? Was it during a full moon? Were you a virgin?" depending on answers "are you still a virgin or did you by chance sleep with a hag?"

Just a note, you cannot reply back telepathically and she's speaking in common, nothing like a good misunderstanding to start things off fun.

This was not the first time she had come upon such a scene, she wished it was, but simply because the Vale offered second chances, didn't mean that those who came here suddenly became virtuous.   Her fur was white, but not gleaming, like spring snow that was beginning to reveal the dust and dirt that had settled in and like the Vale had little to do with virtue either.  It was hard to pick up social cues at this distance, what she could smell was blood and then he took a single step forward, that was enough to keep her from hesitating. 

A massive wolf near the size of a horse burst into the clearing and leapt between the man and woman, then with a low growl in her throat, a voice then projected into the mind of the man.  It was a female voice, that was tense with suspicion. ~Lay down your arms slowly and speak your intentions clearly, my patience is a scarce as the meat in these woods~ 

With a glance back at the woman, who she could now see clearly was a rather beautiful green haired elf.  The wolf gave a slight nod.  At this proximity, the elven woman's rather seductive appearance and casual demeanor made the shapeshifter worry that perhaps she was interrupting something consensual... and be more than a little grateful for the fact that wolves could not blush.  

Been busy with Halloween, just finished Trick or treating, then obligatory movie, will post soon.
