  1. I'm having ear problems so I couldn't finish my update. I think we can move on to the next chapter/pre-chapter episode while I get it fixed and I can do my update then. Probs won't need to roll anything before a while anyways
  2. Helena repressed a huff when the two ardents stepped in her path, opting instead to cross her arms, in case the annoyed expression on her face wasn't enough. First the lack of lead, then the wrong itzenko dancing forever and by the waves were the drinks here bad! She's not even sure if the thing she ingested was meant to be beer or tar "So much for finding your crew, captain" she thought Looking at the men, they seemed like sailors as well, though of a far less reputable kind. Pirates? The tricorns and rusted hilts would match. She kept an eye on it, in case either of them were stupid or hardy enough to start a brawl "Just like the old song". For some reason those words stuck out to her. Some sort of local folklore maybe? What, did he think she was some magical creature that could bring them easy riches? They definitely weren't doing it out of the kindness of their own hearts for sure. Even then, only one of them believed it "I'm looking for a friend. And since they're not here" she turns to the dancing itzenko before snapping back to the ardents "I'm leaving. Unless you somehow know of a war-furred itzenko prancing around, I have nothing to give you"
  3. Schedule also got clogged up. I've been trying some stuff, so I'll be fine on the assistance side of things
  4. Posted ... Well at least I'll find him, given I'm also gonna get lost to the Shadow Realm or whatever
  5. Helena was the first to notice Kryk T'k's disappearance, and became very concerned when her questioning of the rest of the crew revealed that nobody knew where the itzenko was save for his last supposed destination. So, anchor in hand, that's where she would go. She knew that they were probably fine and simply took longer than usual, but also couldn't shake off a nasty feeling. And anyways, she wasn't sure what else to do right now Once she steps foot into the edges of the Drunken Cobble, a thought occured to her. One that, in retrospect, should have come about the instant she set out "...How do I find him" She scratches her head, trying to lay out her options. She could ask the people, Kryk T'k wasn't exactly the pinnacle of mundane, so someone must have seen him. But there was no telling how one might react to some stranger with a giant anchor asking you about their furred mantis friend. Yeaahhh, might be awkward. It seems she'll have to do it herself. For one moment she thinks: What was the likeliest place he could have gone to? She'd go there and, provided he wasn't there, would try to follow any potential trail. It's a furred Itzenko warrior, surely there was some trace of their passing! ...Right? Actions Find Kryk T'k using a combo of Tides+Hunt
  6. Oh right I still need to fix Helena's Steel Dance Uh I think I'm still gonna go with finding Kryk T'k if everyone's fine with it
  7. ...I forgot, damnit! Limbus Company's update kicked my ass. I'll get to it right now Nevermind, but! I am going to Listen for Whispers of Leviathans and their hunters
  8. Yeah, I liked it Also still not sure what to do for Helena's montage. I'm thinking either Listen for a Whisper or Explore the Drunken Cobble. See what she could hear, maybe get some tips on other leviathan hunters that could join them (or these ones) and just have a good time
  9. "DUO ARE BACK!!" After a moment of shocked silence, Helena cries out in joy and throws both arms into the air at the sight of their friend. The anchor even flashes bright, resonating with Helena's joy at seeing their comrade(s) intact "Oh the moment I saw your door weebed up I knew you had something in mind! Hell, you even got a makeover!" It takes her a moment to remember that not everyone here knew of their not-so-fallen crewmate(s). Alfred was still shaking like a leaf "Oh. Right. You're new. They're Duo, of the ship's crew. A little scary, but they're fine, don't worry. Even saved our lives once. They'd have met you but they were... well I was gonna say dead, but more like knocked out? Still scared the hell out of me, only getting a mask and a few spiders back" She turns to Duo, more confident in their expertise than her personal knowledge. Sure she had also died, but it was a different one. Just as scary however. But while one was brought back to speed, the other(s) might still be confused "And Duo, this is Alfred, a new member we picked up while you were gone. The flaming skull's Wattson and the cannon they brought with them is Cecily! Three for one!" "We're currently at Sixstones and taking a small rest. Oh, right, we searched the ruins where you uh... "died" and found some weird mesmerising plant, it's funny to look at. Ham was busy tending at it"
  10. Dang. Meant to post earlier but forgot. I'll pull one up tomorrow
  11. "I... don't really like the sound of this, I'll be honest" Helena awkwardly chuckles as Pieter floats away "Either way, welcome aboard, Alfred! Nice getting more crew on this journey!" She waves at the new arrival before deftly jumping back into the crow's nest, keeping an eye out for more ghost ships or any other troubles OOC Welp that was pretty concerning. Let's hope it works out Keep Watch
  12. I also expected Ittle or one of the moochees to jump in too
  13. I got eye issues and couldn't post
  14. I dunno, best work? Pieter doesn't sound very friendly. I'm not sure letting loose a fully operational ghost ship is that good an idea. But it could also make for a good ally, especially if they bring the other ghost ships under them. Gods that'd be terrifying actually I don't think we know how belligerant Pieter is, that's really the main problem. I mean, his talk doesn't make him sound very peace and love but... Well, he wouldn't be the first or only one
  15. The Moochee They're a white cat with black spots, a pair of bird wings and a third eye on their forehead called Cirro. They're pretty cordial, although a bit out of touch with the human world. Recently they've been trying to get her to work with other Scions, which she refuses for personal reasons. Usually they trick her into it by not mentioning the presence of other Scions in whatever assignement they give her
  16. The Black Fixer "Yeah. But you know it doesn't always end this way, Ittle" She frowns when she sees said liaison show up from behind. "Believe me Morgan, you're not missing out on much. Speaking of, Cirro. I have good news! Your plan was an absolute failure!" She says in a fake-happy voice as she points at some of the knocked out Scions nearby "One of them hates me and thinks I'm just an edgy asshole and the other's first reaction upon seeing me was to shiv me! Hell, she did more damage than the bloody Rampant!" "Truly, my return heralds success!" She cackles about as weirdly as Morgan and claps before quieting down and looking at the sky, staying silent for a while. She hated to admit it but while it wasn't "fun" by any means it was... meaningful. More than just staying at home and boring herself to death with school. Plus they were lacking in Scions anyways. She's not sure she could save lives... but staying in the back definitely wouldn't. She lets out a long distressed sigh "Goddess damnit... Okay fine, I'm coming back for real this time! If only because everything's on the verge of failing and I couldn't sit back and be at peace with myself. Nothing more"
  17. Before I (finally) post, can Helena get an idea of the progress of the ship duel that's also happening? I guess Pieter is the main problem right now, but I don't wanna fight pirates yet while dealing with him
  18. The Black Fixer She sighed as she stepped out and onto solid ground. At least everyone else was safe. Now she could go, after she yells at Cirro. But it seems someone else already had that idea. She was standing mouth agape as not only was the teensy little Scion revealing herself to be one of the biggest deliquent she knew, but to absolutely go off at the Moochees. Amused, she walked over to her and puts a hand on her shoulder, trying to keep her voice calm "Morgan I understand your frustration, but allow me" "Now, as for you, Ittle, with my most sincere respect" "WHAT THE F@#K!" To give her yell a little more oomph, she even stomps on the ground once "Do you want another "Moonlit Paladin" incident? Cuz that's how you get one!" "Swear, all recruits! And ya send them against a Proto-Major!? Holy shit just get Xiao! The two of us would have cleaned up that mess five times faster, five times easier, with literally zero risk!" She lets out a deep groan, burying her masked face in her hands. Now that most of her bottled up frustration was out, she could focus on what she actually wanted to say. She's sure they were used to it by now "Swear, are we this low on manpower? I told you, Promethea's robot army was an amazing idea! Easy to make, can cover a wide area and good luck eating those souls! Seriously, we're lucky nobody died... I hope. Look, we ain't completely immortal, so while we can do the stabbing stuff, if you fail on the recon stuff, then we have a problem. Damn it, I hope that's not why I've been called so much recently. Mopping up stragglers is one thing, but this? Might as well become full-time agai... oh that little..." She could feel a pique of frustration rising up again "Alright now where's Cirro so I can pun... calmy explain to them the definition of "retired""
  19. Oh wow that's a cool looking text box. How'd you do that Niven?
  20. Helena was more busy with what she saw over on the treeline than what was going on. Entire ships!? A pirate one at that too... that smelled bad, even for her. More concerning was the one right next to them, which brought her back to the realisation of why she took the bar in the first place "Ah! Yes we are so sorry for that we were just... stuff happened and we weren't as attentive as we usually are, sorry" Her words came more as a panicked and guilty deluge than a constructed answers, but they eventually slowed down as she looked for their reaction "Erm... Could you tell your friend to point the cannon away from us please? We'd be more than happy to repay you in some way and want you no harm, promise" She even holds out both of her hands in a gesture of surrender
  21. Helena still felt a little somber from not having been able to bring back Duo. But the fact the spiders sealed the door means that maybe they weren't as gone as she thought. She went back onto the bridge and leaned on the wooden edge, looking out at the vast sea "If I start being afraid every time I go into this thing, I'll never kill that accursed flower" She sighs, taking out the small bronze locket around her neck and opening it. Inside was a picture of her, probably before she died, and that woman. Funnily enough, she doesn't remember where she got it from "...Just where are you?" As the ship cuts across the waves, she decides to do something a little more relaxing. K was obviously going to be out of comission for a while, but they'd already started to work on something. They wouldn't mind if she tried adding to it, right? OOC Dunno what to roll to make the map
