(I do wish to take the time to heal up before continuing, but far away from the dangerous tree) Religion Nalah understands the role of the room, but she's now wary of other traps. So she spends a bit of time looking around and analyzing the tree to determine if this one's also cursed (who knows...). As she decides to get back to the party, she realizes Drasil is staring at her. She doesn't feel at ease and starts shuffling her feet while stating: "I think I've understood the point of these... well, roots, or beds and tree, whatever. It's useful for prophetic dreaming. If you're a follower of Desna... You are? Or not, anyway. It can be interesting, but I don't know if the place is still blessed with the goddess powers. Also, it'd be better if we had one of these sacred items to dream, dreamstone I think they are called. Anyway..." And she quickly moves away from the elf to get... somewhere else.

Can I assume we take the time to heal to full? Once fully healed, Nalah will, once again, take a peek at the other room, staying as stealthy as possible. Stealth (Greater Cover)

I've tried to use the "language" feature when writing my text to Kajimara, but I feel it doesn't really work. Any idea how I can make myself proficient in Goblin?

As the fight settles down, Nalah comes back to the room with the tree. She answers to Garion: "I can take care of my wounds, use your healing on the others." And to prove her words she lay her hands on her chest and calls the power of her deity to close her wounds. She turns to Kajimara and tells it: Speak Goblin? The tree's dead now, you can stop attacking it. Looking at the tree, she wonders if it's that dead... "Kyro, do you think the tree can wake up again? Because if it's the case, I'd prefer to solve the problem with a saw, I don't want anyone to get hurt."

Or a free hand ;) Anyway, not important as Garion escaped through his own means. "Guys, we should get the hell out of here, it won't follow us!" And Nalah tries to escape the grasp of the tree. Escape She succeeds and moves out of the room. Just for information, the only time my party ever tried to destroy a Hazard it took us more than 10 rounds. I'm not sure I want to take the risk with this tree :D

Then I don't change my action, I was using Athletics to get Garion out of the tree's grasp, so he should be free then!

Is it "Athletics (expert) or Thievery (expert)" or "Athletics (whatever) or Thievery (expert)"? The sentence can be read both ways ;)

It's just that you normally don't have reactions before your first turn in combat. But fine, message received. I personally prefer if you tell me when I make a mistake so I can correct it immediately. So don't hesitate.

Empathetic Plea is so cool, too bad it has been removed from the Remaster. But as it's a reaction, I doubt you can use it on an unexpected attack outside combat. Nalah reacts quickly and yells "Danger!" while running to Garion. She then tries to extract him from the tree (Reposition technically). Athletics If it's a success, Nalah moves Garion one square south of her. If it's a critical success she moves him inside the corridor. Is Garion freed from the grasp or not? Stride + Reposition (1 action left)

Don't hesitate to tell me if I'm going too fast, I'm used to games with a post per day. Nalah makes a few steps inside the corrigor, stays close to the wall and uses her mirror to look into the next room without attracting attention. Stealth with Greater Cover

Nalah listens to Kuz'Arak's story with great interest. Like Hamàrr, she reacts negatively when she hears about slavery. When going to Alseta's Ring, she follows the party, staying quiet as she doesn't know well her new teammates. Entering the room, her immediate reaction is to seek the shadows (Avoid Notice) to hide from potential enemies. She looks at the different elements of the room. Religion 1 Perception Religion 2 She listens to Garion. When he starts restoring the area, she whispers to him: "I don't think there's anything left of what this room was considering the desecration that has been done here. I'd prefer to destroy everything and leave no divine trace at all." Looking at the 2 exits, she tells the party: "I can scout the tunnels a bit, to avoid any danger."

Thanks Nwise for the heads up. It's fine, now, Nalah has enough information to understand what's going on. I haven't read the 2 pages, first because it's a lot of text but also because Nalah technically never lived through it.

Sorry, but I'm lost. The supper was the moment where someone was supposed to explain what's happening. So currently Nalah has no idea why we get to the Alseta's Ring. Someone care to explain? I added Nalah to the Maps and Handouts.

Nalah listens to Garion. She seems clearly lost but also amused. She takes quite some time looking at the card Garion revealed. After the reading, she is thoughful for a minute and then smiles: "So, business as usual. Thanks Garion."
