As she saw the paths she went into business mode, crouched down, and started scanning each path with well-trained eyes, trying to find the best way forward to the tower. As she scanned each path she mapped out where it went in her head, making observations about who had left each trail so she could find the best one for the party

Active Aspects Battle Stance x1 Careful Observations x1 Action & Results Using Fight to Attack the Orcs Roshini Prabhakara She looked over at Markus concerned before moving onto attacking the berserker orcs. She wanted to get this over with so she used her shield as a blunt weapon, bashing it into orc heads and pinning them before stabbing them with her spear. This tactic was what the battle stance was best used for so she got more use out of it, with her footwork helping her overpower them.

The first two zombies, with one more coming out of the temple, kept attacking the wall driven by the flowers pulsating somewhat eerily on themselves.  Meanwhile, the third zombie was destroyed by both the shot and the lighting bolt with it plunging through its head. As its corpse fell the flowers started parasitizing it, turning it into sludge. They managed to get into the part of the graveyard where the party was, the flowers growing on their skin getting ripped off. Roaring one attacked its Wild Swings hitting the entire area. The other one attacked too aiming for Markus. Shinigami meanwhile, had the flowers simply fall off of him as he bounded back to Aerith. You leave and we pretend this never happened or..." she smiled. "We beat you up and I bring the goddess's wrath upon you." Her face became solum as she brandished her shield, Medusa's head carved on it a reminder of the fate of all those who dared defy Athena. "Do you wish to be blinded such as Ilos? 'Well, those are the first problem to deal with.'She dashed into the campsite and yelled to get the orc's attention before starting to attack, her shield held over her chest in a melee stance. Jumping into the fray she started to attack stabbing into the orcs with both sides of her spear.
  6.     They attempted to cross it but didn't manage to rather cartoonishly going up against the wall and flying back.   7. As the zombie was hit by the attacks it went down not even the thick cushions of flowers on it doing anything. The flowers would start burrowing into the poor little dog until it turned into one of the undead. "Leave. That is our kill." as she said this however her words had a shiver in them that wasn't there before as she sized him up

She grinned. "May Pallas Athena bless us." With that, she started looking at the orcs noting every weapon every scratch on the camp and most importantly anything she could use to overwhelm the orcs.
  10. Lyra would notice that there were zombies milling about around the graveyard and near the temple in an area almost entirely covered in flowers. Strangely they appeared to be nearly covered in gravesbloom with the flowers growing out of their skin, glowing with an eerie light. The zombies were mostly just walking around, occasionally touching gravestones. When they did the flowers that had burrowed into their skin inched over to the gravestone covering it in more of the flowers.   11. Result   Markus would see the telltale signs of zombies near the Old Temple, in the middle of the graveyard. Near it, animals didn't tread, even though it was full of greenery, and as he strained his eyes he could see glimpses of what looked like human footprints with the shadows of hands and legs sometimes being visible.

Active Aspects None Action & Results   Roshini Prabhakara "No offense taken." As she examined the smoke she drew her shield and got out her spear. Settling into a familiar stance that she had learned in the temple, aligning her body in a way that would allow fast movement with her spear yet still cover her weak spots with her shield.  "That is probably another orc camp." She smiled a slightly terrifying smile. "We need more livers anyways."

Active Aspects None Action & Results   Roshini Prabhakara Seeing the pair of people reunite and show their gratitude Ratri was instead going into the orc camp looking for the remains of the fire. She had a job to do after all, and the party needed to get the livers. Walking up to a corpse she pulled out a small knife and started cutting into the corpse of the orc carving the chest up. Finding the liver she carefully took it out before placing it in her satchel. Then she moved onto the next one. It was extremely gross and she was only doing it for the temple
  15. Flower Hunt   Request Information Location: Second Floor Party Size Recommendation: 4-5 Quest Giver Ambika the Alchemist Quest Description: I need Gravesbloom flowers for a potion. They only grow on the second floor near graveyards so go up there and pick some. Beware of zombies though. Issues: Gravesbloom only grows on zombies that need to be neutralized to harvest it.  Characters: Markus, Oleana, Aerith, Lyra   The Ancient Graveyard It was later in the morning when the party enters the graveyard. It was in the ruins sector of the 2nd floor and as people entered the floor you heard rumors of zombies being seen around this graveyard that had strange growths on them. Due to Gravesbloom only appearing on zombies, the party approached the vast graveyard to start finding some. The graveyard was strangely peaceful though there was still an eery feeling all around.   Graveyard Aspects: The Ancient Dead Overgrown with vines Tombstones and mausoleums abound Challenge Look for traces of zombies: 5+ (Time needed + Area difficulty) Failing this test could lead to the party finding some unwelcome surprises, zombies sneaking up on them, or going in the wrong direction entirely.

She started fighting using her shield to bash into an orcs chest. In the split second of shock that got her she stabbed her spear at the orc aiming for its throat.

Noticing that both Markus and Fin appeared to be long ranged though she started thinking of ways to back them up hazily remembering lessons flashing through her head. Remembering how powerful orc attacks were though she settled on one. Focussing entirely on the goddess she closed her eyes and started chanting a hymn that she knew well as a song for protection. "Of Pallas Athene, guardian of the city, I begin to sing." The strange power that appeared to come with her belief started forming around her threads of blue and silver appearing. "Dread is she, and with Ares she loves deeds of war, the sack of cities and the shouting and the battle. It is she who saves the people as they go out to war and come back. Hail, goddess, and give us good fortune with happiness!" With the last sentence the magic she had been gifted with formed into wards of protection with Roshini still focussing on the prayer nearly singing the words.

As she walked through the ruins looking around she wondered what had happened to this place to cause everything to go so wrong. The Tower was a trial from Athena but who had tried to complete it and failed badly enough to destroy their civilization? Anyways back to the here and now. Looking around she tried to spot any signs of the orcs, to give the party an advantage in finding the orcs.
  20. The Sect of Pallas Athena Once well respected the sect of Pallas Athena worshipped Athena as a goddess, trying to imitate her in the art of warfare. The priestesses were taught the art of warfare along with the normal rites. The statue of the Pallas Athena at Alexius was thought to offer actual advice to people, appearing in dreams to give them strategic knowledge after giving offerings. In its heyday decades ago legendary heroes would come to receive advice.  However the sect was dying out due to different temples being constructed and it slowly losing patrons - fewer people came to give offerings, money became tighter and tighter, and their ranks continued to thin. Eventually, it started losing temples. Other sects replaced them and worshipped Athena in her kinder aspects believing that they already had enough war gods. Right now the only temple that still stands is in Alexius will more priestesses leaving the order every year. Due to the emergence of the tower, there is finally some hope, that new adventurers will start coming and the goddess will start working miracles again.

Waiting for Illiana to finish up she pulled out her spear and shield. As soon as she reached the fox she started attacking.She started thrusting her spear aiming to kill the fox as quick as possible while also angling her shield so that it protected the upper part of her body thus attacking and defending at the same time.

No to the fishing competition that wouldn't get much money. But then she heard what Dagan said and smiled. She could pretty easily take two birds out with one stone. "That sounds good. Maybe we could hit some orc camps on the way out to get the rewards for two missions instead of one." Seemed like a good idea. Then she remembered who he was also talking too. "Wait you mean going with him?" she pointed to Z and glared at him.

It looked like one idiot and one hot lady who she recognized. It was Illiana one of the people who regularly came to the temple of the sect of Pallas even as the numbers dwindled. They both knew each other well enough. Then she looked at Danner. She didn't recognize him but heard him talk about carving up the dog. Her expression turned sour and she decided to do something about that idiot. She walked up next to Iliana and looked at the dude. "And besides, do you think that the best situation for this is chopping up someone's dog?" she said with a confident voice and a sneer. "With a little blackmail and intimidation added in for good favor, I guess. You then proceeded to do this in the middle of the guild hall thus making business in here harder for everybody involved. Not to help your case the second the potion broke you started screaming for some reason."

She was dressed in neat clothing with weathered leather armor with a spear and shield on her back. On the shield's face was a snake. As she went near the desk she waved hello to Rolia greeting her with a smile before turning towards the board a determined expression on her face.  Seeing the crowd Roshini took a second to think. Most of the adventurers muscling around the board had weapons on their backs or near them.   If she tried to muscle her way through it she might get seriously hurt. But on the other hand there were missions on that board that could be valuable and if she waited then she would be left with the bad ones. Making up her mind she delved into the thick of it pushing people aside and bashing through the crowd to get to the mission board hoping to get a good one.
