  1. Sol finally decided to move a little further in as well. He did not feel great about it, and he had to repeatedly remind himself that if the most dangerous thing Sepurnia had found was a literal pile of gold, it couldn't be that bad. Moving sneakily, he followed the path others had taken; checking for traps is troublesome, much easier to have others clear the path for him. His sore throat and burning lungs reminded him that one trap was plenty for him. Sol takes the Avoid notice exploration action (found it on the wiki, figured this is how it works, but do tell me if I'm using it wrong)
  2. Sol jumps back, surprised by the sudden explosion of the wall. He tries not to breathe in any of the poison but is not successful and immediately breaks into a coughing fit. "That's one nasty place to set a trap," he said, still out of breath. "Makes you wanna take some of that treasure as compensation, if nothing else." Quickly regretting his remark, he adds before others take him seriously, "Of course, that is just a pleasant thought; I value my life enough not to actually steal from a dragon's lair."
  3. "As they say, the more the merrier," declared Sol. "Now, let us not diddle around; we have a dragon to see." Sol moved as if to enter, but then realized he didn't feel the best being at the front of the group when meeting a dragon. His solution: act like you are inspecting the walls of the cave (murmuring stuff like "hmmm... indeed, rock of ancient origin", "sedimentary build", or "it should pose no threat of collapsing"), and wait for others to go ahead.
  4. Noticing others' reactions to Death Chicken, Sol pondered for a few moments whether he should try the thing or not. In the end, even while knowing he didn't need such an experience, his lack of self-control got the better of him, and he couldn't turn down the challenge. Trying to be wiser than others, he prepared his milk in advance and drank it in an act of gluttony without waiting to see whether such excessive action was really needed. His little scheme proved effective and succeeded in dampening the hot poison's aftereffects. "Indeed, it is as you've just heard. We would be incredibly grateful if you could tell us anything that could come in useful during our travels." He was still red in the face.
  5. Sol didn't like the goblin's tone, so he decided to help this time. He went over to the goats and tried to get them to move. Even if he can't push the cart, he could make others do it for him. wiki says command an animal is nature against animal's will DC
  6. Sol, seeing Sepurina, Lucky and Rowena were doing a fine job, figured his help wasn't necessary. Either way, he didn't have the muscle needed to push carts. He looked around the cart to see if there were any other troublesome areas other than the wheel. "Got stuck en route to town?" he said, speaking to the goblin steering the goats, but with his gaze still fixed on the ground. "Beautiful place, good food. Might I ask, where are you from? Also that chicken of yours, how spicy is it actually?" To whom it may concern, Sol never tried the food in the city.
  7. Along the way, Sol was humming some melody he heard while joyfully skipping a little ahead of the rest of the crew. Sometimes he would stray off the path if something caught his eye, but he made sure not to get separated from the others. Just thinking about their assignment lifted his spirits, bringing forth the good mood he now radiated around: he would get to see a real dragon (like in some fairytale), his party seemed capable and made up of many interesting fellows, and the job was just to walk through some mountain trail to make a delivery; easy money, well paid too, or so he heard (given he was flat broke this skyrocketed his morale). As they approached the goblins and their cart, Sol noticed them first. "Hey," he shouted, "are you OK? Need some help with that cart of yours?" Truth be told, he did think about trying to make some money off them, but he decided against it, not wanting his new friends to think badly of him. Might as well play it honest, for now.
  8. Right around the 'universal word' part, a plain-looking fellow slipped into the room. Short, with brown hair, and an awfully childish face, but average in every other aspect, he could have easily been mistaken for a human kid (an understandable, in fact expected mistake; good for his swindles, good for his ego, he took pride in actually being tall for a halfling). Timidly slipping by an unfamiliar animal (?) plant (?), he approached others at the briefing, sneakily so as not to disturb his colleagues' speech. He inspected his clothes, cheap adventurer's robes, old and quite used, but still considerably more comfortable than one could tell at a glance; checked that his shortsword was still securely hidden under his clothes, and that his coin purse was still on him; finally, he slid a lock of hair, which was stubbornly falling into his eyes, behind his ear, and, concluding he looked presentable, announced his presence after Lucky had finished. "A dragon? Never seen one, hope she doesn't have a taste for people," he joked, but there could have been some truth to it. "I'm Solence Lenten, but y'all can call me Sol, everybody calls me so. Anyway, pleased to meet ya. EDIT: forgot to link th sheet, so it is
  9. Hi everyone, just finished my character. Meet . Also the . Happy to be here and excited to play a new system.
  10. Thanks for having me. I made a paizo account earlier today and got the number so no problem there I'll try and make a character (making a character in a new system is always an experience), but it is quite late now so I'll leave it for tomorrow. Will join the rpg chronicles in the morning, it's a pain navigating an unfamiliar site on a smartphone.
  11. Hi, I would like to join if possible. Must admit I'm a bit of a beginner both in a sense that this would be my first game on this site and that I have very limited knowledge of the PF2 system (more accurately I've looked up the basics of the system a while back, but never actually played it). That being said, I have plenty of experience playing 5e and some with the original Pathfinder and have played PbP elsewhere. Could I join despite the above or should I look for a more newbie oriented game?
