I am good to move on.

The news of Zelda's promotion snaps Anya out of her mood briefly, long enough for her to crack a genuine smile. "Congratulations Zelda." Anya has been more than content to follow Zelda's lead in their short time as a team.

Anya wakes early and carries out her standard routine, despite getting very little slepp. She will have breakfast, but does not say much . As soon as she finished up, Anya will get ready. The overthinking on the conference extends to what to wear. She decides on a smart white shirt, with her more 'casual' military jacket, jeans and boots. To add her own touch she will wear the watch given to her by her father and the red scarf knitted by her mother, tied around her neck and begrudgingly has her hair down. She listens to the instructions about the press conference and what the others say but struggles to not get lost in her own thoughts.

Anya goes along for the trip through London to try and get her bearings and scope out the area. Although it is hard not to get distracted seeing the damaged caused by the fight. Back at the apartment Anya joins the others in watching the Jehoel attack. "Is NERV London equipped with this AT bait too?" Studying the movements of the Denver team and thinking about what she would have done, and what she could have done better in their own recent battle.

Agreed, I think using the c equipment will be necessary as this thing probably won't leave the water, and risky for someone to drop on it (although cool).

Anya studies the report carefully, she knew she would be fighting entities alongside her spy duties, but now it sounds like she may be fighting other people too. Seems odd to do when there are much bigger threats, but is not unfamiliar with it. "Was he able to use an A.T. field when you trained him? I read that all humans have some sort of A.T. Is it possible he has some sort of tech that would let him user it? If they are cultists maybe he has interacted with an entity somehow - there is still a lot we don't know about them." Anya thinks back to the battle and how she felt paralyzed by the fear of first encountering an entity. "Did the two of you part ways on good terms? I know we are considered an 'asset' but could he be trying to get at you Captain?"

I think getting into the water will be inevitable in this fight, if we need the resources for other things I can use some of Anya's trust.

Anya listens intently to the discussion and thinks back to her tactical training. "It might be risky, but could one Eva go in and try and lure Gazardiel out? Give us the environmental advantage. I would not ask that of anyone else so I could take that role. Or does NERV have anything like sea mines, the kind used in older wars? Maybe we can limit its movement a bit underwater. Our AT fields protect us from that sort of conventional firepower right? In terms of load out, the hand cannon is a good idea, and I am considering getting explosive rounds for RX-0. The prog knife proved useful last time or maybe something like a spear, depending on our approach."

I am still up for fighting gazardiel, Anya will want to appear as a loyal nerv soldier. We can split the trust cost if we ant extra suits. Just catching up on the IC thread so should be able to post in there by tonight.

I am happy with the inclusion of puzzles, riddles etc, unfortunately I won't have time for this one - just a reminder I am away from tomorrow. Some of Anya's items she brought with her to base may be ale to help if we decide to solve this in character, no worries if not.

Anya gets to work straight away in helping to tidy up, somewhat relieved that there are just a few of them now. At Silver's request she joins the others at the table and pours herself a drink. "Zelda, I have a book of codes and ciphers that might help with that." Mostly for the benefit of Mikhail she recaps a little of what she has already told the others. "I was born in Munich Germany, Father was a soldier, Mother a field nurse. Neither work in the field after the events in Berlin but still have military ties. The military has always been part of my life, trained from a young age, which helped me get selected as an Eva pilot. All of which helps with my other job too I suppose."

"Yes thanks Chris. Although it does seem a little strange, been a hectic couple of days." As Anya shakes Greg's hand she notices him observing one person in particular. While she tries to figure out why she continues the conversation with him. "Thank you Greg. It was not easy, particularly having not worked together and with little prep. Now that we are back up to four pilots and with some regular training we can do some things better." She also wants to press something she heard on the way over. "We have not been told the specifics of training yet, do you know what we can expect?" I think an in character planning session might be useful as we now have a fourth pilot so it would be good to discuss tactics and we have barely had any time with Mikhail yet. Also up for an optional fight, for exp OOC. IC it might help build trust with NERV and help us prep for bigger fights.

Finally free from Ian, Anya fights the urge to audibly sigh with relief. Best speak to some of the other guests. Anya spots Chris Kumar speaking to Greg and takes a somewhat longer rout through the kitchen and around the table. From the files, she knows he works directly for Kirsty Spade, doesn't talk much and is observant just like Anya....need to be careful here. Luckily Chris is fairly chatty. "Hi Chris, hope you are enjoying the party. It has been fun getting to know your team. Me and the other pilots were hoping to spend some time on the bridge and see how things work at some point." Anya speaks to Chris as she positions herself next to the pair. "Sorry, I don't believe we have been introduced, I am Anya, nice to meet you." She extends a hand to Greg.

Anya is starting to regret her decision slightly, as she tries to distance herself slightly but still listens. Especially as other people's reaction seems to confirm some of what Ian says. It will be good to follow up with Ian on this, maybe just not all of it right now.

As Anya is speaking to Carl she can't help but overhear some of Emiko's conversation with the commander. The commander's reaction to something Emiko says catches her attention. Carl's comment about the world recovering brings a smile to her face, it would be nice to see the world as it was. Anya listens to Chris's responses carefully eyes darting between the people he mentions, all the while keeping an eye on the situation unfolding with Serena and Daniel. "Yeah, guess we all have our baggage" Anya comments thoughtfully, thinking about her own secrets and her other mission. As Chris jokes, Anya can't help but remember Bo's warning - maybe he was right! As Serena and Daniel's exchange draws more attention Anya uses the opportunity to speak to Ian about his thoughts on the computer and move closer to the commander. "Hello again Ian, we did not get a chance to speak properly earlier. You work with the Taravangian too? What are your thoughts on it?" She glances over at the main conversation that is happening as she asks, so the questions does not seem out of the blue. ActionsTo try and make sense of the commander's reaction, can I use common lore war? - missed the TN anyway Anya will use the time skip to speak to Ian, especially if he goes on a rant about the super computer. As she is no closer to the commander, she will use her sigh awareness again. - Just passed, 0 DoS

"Yes, I miss the food too. No, unfortunately not, from what I have been told I would have like to have seen it." Anya says in response to the pre-androsk comment. She looks somewhat disheartened at Carl's mention of being in the spotlight for a while longer, although it was to be expected. "Oh, that all sounds very useful, if we get time I will see if the others want take a closer look if that is ok?" Throughout the conversation Anya has been trying to listen in on Daniel and the others, only catching bits and pieces, but mostly observing the the small group that has formed. She thanks Carl for his time and excuses herself to continue mingling. She turns her attention to Chris. "Hey Chris, hope you are enjoying the party so far. Daniel has some... interesting views, what is he like to work with?." Anya grabs some more food and refills her drink to seem more natural and allow Chris time to answer. "Fergus, does not seem to share the same viewpoint as Daniel. I know earlier you said the Taravangian was launched too early and the data needed to be questioned. What is the general feeling within your team?"

Anya smiles at hearing the somewhat emphasized accent. "Nice to meet you Carl. Ah Munich, that is where I grew up. How did you find it there?" "Yes it has been busy to say the least, I am surprised we even held this today...and i'll admit these sort of things are not my favourite." Anya looks around briefly, with a reluctant and somewhat distant look appearing across her face. Almost as if taking that brief pause allowed the exhaustion to kick in suddenly. "We had a brief tour of engineering, you are head of class A&B right? What are your team developing at the moment?"

"Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Anya." Anya introduces herself to Mark in response and sticks around long enough to not be considered rude. As talk switches to Amaterasu, Anya excuses herself. A few new people have appeared now, so she will mingle for appearances, but it will be good to see if she can learn anything new. Particularly as Daniel Birch has just entered. She sees Zelda approach the pair of Daniel and Fergus so doesn't approach directly. Anya moves close enough to observe Daniel and possibly in earshot. As she moves through the room she catches a hint of an accent from her homeland. She waits for a pause in conversation before introducing herself to Carl. "Excuse me, I could not help but notice the German accent. I'm Anya.", as she extends a hand.

"Understood Captain. I assume there are arrangements if an entity attacks while we are off base? The last one was quite sudden." Anya won't question any of Serena's recommendations. Even if leaving the base is a risk it will be good for the team to spend some time together. She listens as Zelda and Serena start their back and forth but tries to look elsewhere.
