  1. Flickwit starts to dig out his hidey hole, then pauses for a second as he gear’s Malice’s taunting. He looks to Doorfin and whispers “Don’t fall for her taunting! We’ve got a good plan! When she gets close give me a signal and I’ll pop up and douse her!”
  2. If everyone agrees with Flickwits addendum to the plan, he will try to dig a small indentation in the soft dirt and lay flat, trying to disguise himself as a pile of dirt, then pop up and douse her with oil when she’s close
  3. Still trying to stay hidden, Flickwit whispers to the two by the entrance, “Doorfin, stand near the tunnel entrance and keep her distracted. Shaun, get ready with the torch. I’ll douse her with the oil, then you light her up.”
  4. He's got some remaining rope, I think. Would thieve's tools have a spool of thin thread for such occassions?
  5. Could Flickwit set up a rudimentary tripwire to drop/tip the flask of oil on her head? Or is there not enough time/supplies at hand? I figure we could douse her, then when she comes at the obvious group holding torches and such, they light her up.
  6. I believe so; if no one else took it, he’ll have it wrapped up in cloth or leather in his bag so it doesn’t make too much noise
  7. Flickwit started with two flasks of oil, I’m not sure if they were used in the lantern yet. He also has candles, torches, and flint. He could throw the flask/splash her with it if someone else wants to hurl a torch at her?
  8. I am down with opening the coffin; however I had an idea; we have oil, maybe Flickwit can douse her with oil and someone lights her on fire?
  9. Flickwit has to hold back a scream of woe. More senseless violence, more cruelty, more terror. He sighed in resignation as he fell back on his best method of survival: skulking in the shadows and waiting for the best moment to strike. “You keep her distracted, friends.” He says as he skulks off into the shadows. “I’ll wait for the right moment to strike.”
  10. While Flickwit is very much exhausted and more than ready to close his eyes for even a few minutes’ rest, he is still high strung and his paranoia is running rampant. He thoroughly searches the northern passage to check there’s no awful secrets hiding in the shadows, ready to tear their throats out as they rest.
  11. Flickwit shakes his head, though its more like he's shaking the cobwebs of bad thoughts from his head than disagreeing with the dwarf. "No... no I don't think we are dead, or disentombed. I think we were all trapped here by some malignant worshipper of that horrid spider beast outside -" he shudders tremendously at the mention of the titanic monstrosity outside. "And for some reason it seems to enjoy our butchering and our misery. It tricked us into devouring..." His stomach churns, and he struggles to hold back a tidal wave of sick. "others. For what ends I know not, but I think we are merely flies in a spider's web." He considers Novia's idea. "I'm afraid I am about to pass out on my feet... I can barely stand. If the next room is safer, or easier to defend... I just need to sit for a few minutes, catch my breath..."
  12. Sorry all, long weekend for me. I think Shaun and Flickwit would be next to useless if they don't get at least a little rest, but and make good points. Maybe we should quickly scout out the north, then decide if we can rest there. Resting in this gigantic cavern with little protection or hiding spaces is probably not a great idea. If we just quickly look in the north doorway, would we still be risking exhaustion?
  13. Is there anything we can use to make a barricade or hindrance in the tunnel entrance? Or at least set up an alarm tripwire? I don’t think risking exhaustion is a great idea
  14. Are there any religious symbology in any of the graves that seems familiar to anyone
