  1. Atticus' moved his attention to his new compatriots. Politeness was always a treat compared to some of the unpleasantness of the gunslinger's trade, he was glad to be a part of it. He gave a firm handshake to Coro and gives a firm nod to Dolyn before replying, "Please, just Atticus. No need for such formality if we'll be workin' together." His attention was taken by the unique chatter from Mr. Miracle. He turned to him, his eyes narrowing as his mind tried to parse any type of information from the grandiose display of verbage- the conversation even had an effect on his own thoughts. Atticus waits for a moment after the silence before turning to Coro, "He's a tonic man is what he said..." he paused once more, "Or I think that's what he said."
  2. Sorry for the long wait, it's been a hectic week!
  3. 'A real change of scenery,' the gunslinger thought to himself as he looked over the rolling plains of Kansas. Sitting firmly in the middle of nowhere, his eyes just looked far into the horizon as his hands rolled a quirly. It wasn't a moment after he lit his cigarette that the stranger introduced himself. Strange colored eyes moved placidly to Mr. Morris' own before Atticus gave a soft nod of his head. "It's a pleasure, Mr. Morris, names Atticus Beauregard," he paused for a moment, "Hard to pass up Imperial actual, and I assume my horse'll be taken care of?" Atticus stood after a moment, extending a hand to the older gentleman, "Consider me your man, point me to my train."
  4. Unrelated and possibly a silly question, is the starter in a train job an individual thing? Or are we all being interacted with at the same time?
  5. Sorry for the late reply! Hectic weekend with work and all. As for knowing folk, I'm perfectly comfortable with Atticus knowing folk, either in passing or whatever level might make sense for the interaction. I'd rather any previous engagements were, at worst, neutral but I'd prefer friendly if that's possible, we are all working together after all.
  6. Updated his languages (Changed Spanish to Creole, while less useful out in Kansas and beyond it makes more sense roleplay wise and added French to his languages) and added his worst nightmare (Under character traits). Thank you!
  7. Hey there! This is my first time around applying in Myth-Weavers so if I make any glaring mistakes let me know and I'll gladly correct it! Just a bit of an explanation, Atticus is an older character of mine (Never played him in Deadlands, though, but in other western settings)! Drawn by the wonderful Felrija over on tumblr! Atticus Beauregard comes from the gem of the deep south, born in New Orleans at the mouth of the mighty Mississippi River. He left home, and a rather comfortable life, behind in his late teens to avoid the ever growing conflict that was the American Civil War. He would spend his teens working odd jobs, namely with the railroads, throughout the Midwest, Southwest and Northwest. He found gunslinging to his liking and at 22, with more than a few notches on his twin Colt Peacemakers, this strange-eyed stranger would find himself in Doddsville, Kansas where his skills would no doubt find themselves useful again. Atticus has been described as quick and mean, though loyal even to a fault. The gunslinger doesn't keep many friends and those few who are determined enough to scratch past his mean exterior find a man who's willing to fight and die for any he'd call friend, whatever their background or creed. --- While I may have jumped the gun, I was so excited to see a Deadlands game available that I went and made his character sheet. Hopefully it's all solid, I've never gotten a chance to play Savage Worlds before!
