He faced the direction of the slurred speech and gutural moaning, withdrawing his silver hammer holy symbol within the iron grip of his right hand as he steadied his shield on his left forearm.

As the others shared their findings of the small room, the dwarf pondered their next course of action, likely down the ladder as going back out of the cave would invite an unwelcome encounter.

Within two steps beyond the opening, the dwarf bore witness to the rancid stench of the heavy, humid air. "Gaakk...by the gods," proclaimed Gomrund. As he gained his first footing, he caught the elfling out of his peripheral at a much faster pace than he knew he would be able to achieve. But dwarves were nothing short of amazing when it came to sprinting. Very dangerous over short distances. He had to make up fast ground to the shrubbery a few scant feet from the cave then dart to the stones just outside. He slung himself low against the stones, still murmuring the beginnings a spell that would at least slow down the creature should it take notice. He held his tongue until he absolutely knew he would need to utter the words. +Gomrund is using action Dash

Gomrund might be over on his movement but based on how I approached it, I think I have him at the right location. Using running, you double your walking speed. Then add Dash to add the additional walking speed again...right? Example: Gomrund's stunty legs carry him 25ft when he is walking, putting his running speed at 50ft. Let's presume Gomrund had a spicy mix of peppers and mutton which sends him on a mad Dash for the latrine, clutching his buttocks as he scrambles. He would add an additional 25ft of movement (using Dash). Is this correct? I did the stealth roll and forgot to add the +2 from illuminated deer enchantment thingy

Was it a dinner bell meant for the boar? Perhaps an attack trigger? It sounded as if the bell had hit the ground a few times before the silence returned. Without knowing for sure, Gomrund glanced around to see the actions of his party only to watch the fading movements of the halfling Coin. It was then the dwarf made sense of it all. Staying ready with crossbow and shield, Gomrund kept his eyes on the boar's reaction. Clever move, Master Coin. Be best to reserve our charge if we can, he thought. There was wisdom in that.

There's also Clayton's wording... "A moment more and it would be among them." I know this can be read two different ways but my holy nature says
