Roscoe's vision is hampered in the dim light but he can clearly see the large outer gate on the opposite side of the canyon. The frozen stream flows out of a barred culvert, the details of which Roscoe is unable to ascertain, but it might lead somewhere.

The axe beak blinked its eyes and squawked its acknowledgement to Vithka's command. But the beast's squawk did not go unnoticed and you hear the sound of boot steps echoing from beyond the barred openings!

The wolf sighed, and says quietly to Vithka, "Prey. I could just kill it now."

Everyone should make another Dexterity (Stealth) check - unless of course you do something other than hide.

Prevailing light outside is Dim, so for creatures with Darkvision it's treated as Bright (w/in Darkvision range). Those without Darkvision (and beyond Darkvision range for those that do) have disadvantage on Perception checks (and a -5 to Passive Perception).
