Character In A Sentence: Travels looking for her deadbeat dad in search of revenge, Lives By The Code. Is trained as a midwife, healer, and end-of-life caretaker.

Complication: While generally even-keeled, becomes hyper-fixated when the rumor of a traveling rifleman with a knack for long-range precision sniper shooting gets mentioned. Can use Long Guns (rifles) but prefers not to, because she hates being reminded that she inherited any of her dad's talents.

Dying's Easy, Living's Hard

You do a thing enough, you get a reputation. Jen knew that better'n anyone. And sure, there were plenty of whispers in her usual stomping grounds about that 'Death Priestess' who took up bounty hunting and seemed intent on chasing down some bounty she hadn't found yet.

Maybe that was why she'd come out here, to the tail end of nowhere. To get away from the whispers, and inevitably cause some new ones. Out here where nobody knew her, she wouldn't have other priestesses looking at her like she was a disappointment. She wouldn't have to deal with seeing the ghosts of her mother everywhere she looked.

Maybe the miserable bastard she'd been hunting for the past five years had run out here too. Jen stirred from her thoughts and clicked her tongue, gently nudging the heels of her boots into the sides of her trusted horse. "Let's get moving, Avalanche." She said, and her mount took off at a trot down the lonely, dusty road. Not for the first time in her life, she reached up and touched the shotgun that had been her mother's, the only thing the bastard had given her aside from a pregnant belly.

She looked forward to showing the deadbeat drunk just how well-maintained it was.
