Appearance

Caeliria is a striking dark half-elf with fine white tattoos adorning her face, a nod to her Mwangi heritage. Her skin is a rich, darbk brown that seamlessly blends the elven and human aspects of her lineage. Dark, thick braids of black hair cascade down her back, intricately woven with beads and charms that signify her connection to the Mwangi tribes. Her eyes, a piercing shade of emerald green, carry an intensity that seems to reflect both her intelligence and deep-seated frustration. Caeliria's default expression is a contemplative scowl, and a smile is a rare visitor on her lips.

Adding to her mystique, she is accompanied by a magnificent owl familiar named Accar. Accar's feathers are a vibrant green, resembling leaves, and are adorned with arcane symbols that shimmer as if infused with magical energy.

Personality

Caeliria is a paradox of extroversion and simmering bitterness. She has an insatiable need to explain and justify herself, perhaps stemming from her rejection from being amongst the best in Herma. In her interactions, she exudes a passion that makes her opinions and convictions impossible to ignore. Outspoken and assertive, she finds it necessary to make others aware of her competence, intelligence, and the depth of her convictions. Caeliria is a relentless advocate for those she perceives as downtrodden, and her fervor is especially ignited when discussing those with power or success.

Despite her strong exterior, Caeliria's need for validation hints at a vulnerability that she guards fiercely. Her extroverted nature may sometimes be a mask for the bitterness she harbors due to past rejection, but it also serves as a driving force in her quest to prove herself.

Backstory

Grew up in mwangi tribe daughter of a human man and elven woman. Very smart and selected to go to Herma. Was unsuccessful there and rejected. Upon returning home meet Accar who became her familiar. Has been bitter ever since and resents those who think, or act, like they are better than others. An opportunity to go to the Mgaambya has given her hope she can show she is worthy.

 

Born into a Mwangi tribe as the daughter of a human man and an elven woman, Caeliria grew up straddling two worlds. Her exceptional intelligence set her apart, and she was selected to journey to Herma, a prestigious invitation to be part of the dragon Mengkare 's glorious endeavour to perfect the human race. However, her time there ended in rejection, a bitter experience that left scars on her confidence and fueled her resentment towards those who deemed themselves superior.

Returning to her Mwangi roots, Caeliria encountered Accar, a mysterious owl with arcane symbols on its leaf-like feathers. The magical bond between them became a source of solace and strength for Caeliria. Despite the rejection at Herma, an opportunity to prove herself arose when she learned of the Mgaambya. Hopeful and determined, Caeliria set her sights on this new path, driven by the desire to show her worth and challenge the perception that success and power belong only to a select few. The Mgaambya now stands as both a beacon of hope and a battleground where Caeliria intends to leave an indelible mark, proving her competence and intelligence to a world that once dismissed her.

Key from my intial build in PathBuilder was the Patron name (curse -> the resentment), Familiar of Ongoing Misery ability, adding another ability as was missing one (chose darkvision) and the enfeeble spell over magic missle.
