This thread is for you and me to put such information. This is not a place for discussion, but to put game notes. Don't overuse it. This post's information you glean from background conversation, to save you actually asking a laundry list of background questions in game The world you are in is tied to 3 mythical superdragons: Siberys, the dragon above Eberron, the dragon between Khyber, the dragon below. They had some kind of fight a long time ago. The dragons produce dragon shards, which can be used for various magical purposes. You are looking for a special khyber shard that has been altered by ancient magics. The main city on this world is Sharn, in the kingdom of Breland. Sharn is build on and around a set of sea side cliffs so it is both vertical and horizontal in planning. It has aboiut 200 000 inhabitants. There was a huge war about 5 years ago that ended in the collapse of an empire into numerous smaller kingdoms The planes are different here, there's no wheel, there's fewer of them and they do not seem to be tied to specific alignment ethos. This new world has an evil pantheon consisting of 6 gods, and you met a council representing them.
