Melara Zentaru

Melara Zentaru is the elven captain-owner of the Swift Vengeance, the elven wingship on which the PCs are the boarding party / away team / troubleshooters. She is secretive about her origins and the exact reasons for her ship's name, but it is clear she hates Iverina with a passion. Her ship appeared mysteriously in the Battle of Cardag Reef near the start of the Great War thirty-five years ago, helping to turn the tide of the skirmish in Andaron's favour. She speaks Andaroni with a slight accent and there are no reliable reports of what she was doing before the war. It is generally believed that she is from somewhere on the Continent; some stories say Iverina itself, others Rodana or various smaller nations. She was one of the major voices urging Andaron to implement Letters of Marque when the War stalled twenty years ago.

Corutha, of House Orinda

Corutha, daughter of Kandon the Ninth, is the current High Queen of Andor. Titles on Andaron are inherited by the oldest living child, male or female. Her eldest two siblings were killed in the recent war with Iverina; before that, she did not expect to become Queen. In the absence of her younger brother, the Court has been urging her to marry and produce an heir (as they would with any unmarried ruler). Some urge her to marry the current Crown Prince of Iverina, to end the war, but others find that anathema, fearing the patriarchal Iverinans will come to rule and oppress their former enemies.
