dalamb Posted March 9 Clone Share Posted March 9 For the most part you can assume any playable race from the listed sources can be found somewhere in the campaign world, but they aren’t necessarily common and aren’t necessarily all treated as nicely as more “normal” races. If a sentient is unknown and scary-looking, but giving the appearance of trying to be peaceful and polite, normal people will be wary (perhaps scared) but not homicidal; there would be a fairly natural negative reaction, which could be reflected in how people treat them. If someone or some group has had a bad experience with others of your kind, they would naturally have a more negative reaction than people who never had such experiences. If an unknown or rare creature doesn’t look “civilized” – if it isn’t wearing clothes or carrying goods, for example – it will seem more threatening than if it looks like it might be someone who’d buy your trade goods. National rivalries, such as between Andaron and Iverina, are another matter. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
dalamb Posted March 9 Author Clone Share Posted March 9 Notes on a few specific races Beyond brief mentions in the Known World thread. Hadozee are originally from the jungles of Rodana, but are now almost entirely spread around the world in a massive diaspora, with relatively few known to still live in their original homeland.
