Melkar Posted April 15 Clone Share Posted April 15 Fallout. Just watched the episode and was tentatively impressed by it, it seemed to at least be respectful of the lore behind the series even if some of the protagonist characters seemed particularly unlikeable. We'll see how it goes as I get further into it and whether or not the characters grow on me, I hope so!

I'm five episodes in, and it's just a masterpiece so far. I find it a good show, but I don't think it is that good. Maybe I am comparing my experience with the book, which I absolutely loved. yxanthymir Posted May 2 Author Clone Share Posted May 2 Dungeon Meshi. I am greatly surprised by this anime. Much better than I thought it would be; more serious and dangerous too.
cailano Posted Saturday at 03:38 PM Clone Share Posted Saturday at 03:38 PM I watched Aliens for probably the 829th time last night. I continue to regard it as an absolute masterclass in screenwriting and filmmaking for sci-fi action movies. It's also one of the best dungeon crawls in movie history, albeit a sci-fi dungeon. The xenomorphs as a species are also one of the great monsters of movie history. In short, Aliens should be required viewing for all game masters. If you've never watched it through that lens (or if somehow you've never seen it) Grab some popcorn and sit back while James Cameron shows you how it's done. Andrew Glyph Posted Saturday at 07:22 PM Clone Share Posted Saturday at 07:22 PM I just finished the extended Lord of the Rings trilogy. Interview with the Vampire Season 1 got put onto Shudder, so now I'm finally looking into that.

But Sanada-san is very good as Lord Toranaga in the new series. :)

Book is of course the best, tv rarely make justice to good novels. :)
