Appearance: Yami looks like your average teacher, laugh lines about the eyes, but a stern gaze capable of quelling youths and adults both, some pudge around the belly but still looks quite good for his age. Brown eyes and hair don't really stand out much, he wears a dragonfly symbol on his otherwise plain robes

Having been all over different areas of Golarion Yami is an old hand. He settled in Kenabres as a place he thought he could make a difference in helping the youths, and a place with a good sense of community which is helpful in his old age. Yami was once an active monk, fought off goblins, bandits, and many others when called on to defend. But his calling tended to be in the helping of others, especially in the orphanages, colleges, and learning centers where his wisdom could be put to use. Shei has always been important to Yami, his dreams as a youth were about what he could become and now are about what he has been and who he can still be. Yami feels he has accomplished much, but yearns for a bit of the spark of youth still, and Shei preaches constantly becoming your true self, so he awaits the opportunity for a bit more adventure, his old bones creak but they still hold pretty well after all.

 

In Kenabres Yami is fairly well known about town, you can find him all over finding a soap box to speak about cultural importance, historical events, philosophy, gods, or really anything else. He's known for being an affable older man, maybe a bit dirty but still willing to roughhouse with the youth when it's called for.
